I have been trying and trying to go to the only site (thus far) that I know for chat on chems....Everytime that I try to go there, there is not a soul to be found! It gets a little frustrating to wait and wait for someone to show up...I try to send messages (here) via the messsage feature to people in an attempt that they may show up to talk...Alas, thus far, it has been a real waste of my time. ...Not that the message boards don't have a certain feel of there own, but I guess I am just old fashioned and a people person...I need to actually talk in real-time sometimes with people who are like-minded on this subject. Of course, I will always post too. Anyways, I am hoping that there are enough of you out there that would like to actually "talk" too. I have been wracking my brain to come up with a solution, for those of you who would like to partake... Yahoo! has a feature called "messenger" that you can download (it's fast) by going to their site (www.yahoo.com). Once you have downloaded "messenger" you can access the chat rooms feature and actually talk (if you have headphones on) or type (if you do not have headphones). It sure would be nice to HEAR some of you...and it sure would be a lot easier on the ole' fingers to get a break (sometimes) from posting. For those of you who would like to talk, I plan to create a Yahoo! chat site (via yahoo messenger) in the "public" section of chat under the category of "featured rooms" with a subcategory of "chemtrails". It is now June 20th at 2:23 p.m. (Pacific)... I will be there for about 30 minutes for those of you who would like to join. Thereafter, any one of us can re-create the room there so we can meet up and talk.

I checked out the options for adding a chat feature to this site. Unfortunately adding chat would increase the costs of maintaining the website a good bit, so I can't add chat at this time.I'm glad you are exploring the other possibilities, ABC123. The chat over at Chem11's place works pretty well. Like you said there is often no one there, but I happened across it during a good bit of activity recently and like the way it works. ABC123, does the Yahoo! chatroom have an HTML address? Is there a link or do you have to download the messenger? If there is a link, please post it...

Thermit...I just looked and there is no link to post...must be there way of getting you to register.... don't worry though, registration doesn't ask you for much information. Hope to see someone there soon! I will also keep checking the chem11 site.

I was thinking the same thing about holding a chat... I think a good idea would be to try and set up a specific time, such as 8 pm on a Thursday or Sunday evening, whenever the most amount of people could gather. We could use yahoo, AOL, ICQ, mIRC, or something else? I would be happy to write up some instructions for those not literate with the program we choose.

Why not use Chem11's site? He has it all set up and it works nicely. http://network54.com/Hide/Forum/125334

I am all for using chem11's site. However, an added bonus to using yahoo! is that we can hear one another..and the people who have a mic/headset can actually talk. Nevertheless, let's all put our heads together and find at least one day a week where some or most of us can chat in real time.

I stand corrected. It is 7 PM PDT, since we are in day-light savings time. You are a harsh task-master, 3T3...

No, I'm just arithmetic-challenged, Chem11. It was easier to post the question than it was to change PST to CDT. I just realized, Chem11...you might not know that in the southwestern U.S., there are places which do not bow the knee to Daylight Savings Time. I didn't think there were any such rebellious outposts in Washington State, but I wanted to make sure.
