And I sometimes wonder why I keep an arsenal parked under my bed. Then, you shock me back to reality. You may not be serious, but there may be people out there reading this who ARE. Thanks for giving them the extra "nudge" to find someone in uniform like me and blow them away.

Now that you've got me on a rant, let me say a few things here. As to the credibility of the posts, I am no electronics expert. I also do not have an explanation for the dead birds or the fried electronic equipment. I reckon that it could be a lot of things. Surge equipment isn't always going to protect you. In addition to this, I submit the following random statements:

Local C-130 squadron-Tennessee Air National Guard.

EMP Pulses will fry birds and other "water-based creatures like they were cooked in a microwave, not fried on a grill. And, they would have to be EXTREMELY powerful to do this over long distances and the equipment will be much larger than can fit inside of a C-130. We have C-130s that are dedicated to electronic attack, and they have nowhere near the capability to burn animals.

"A gentleman who is a relative to an owner of a local grocery establishment claims to have seen a Bigfoot near the nuclear plant."-I didn't know that Sasquatch was in on it.

Not one name is quoted on the radio station's web site about the incident, yet many thanks are given to "fringe" radio program hosts. I like Art Bell, but you're not making headway with the mainstream media by giving kudos to radio programs most often associated with the pursuit of conspiracy theories and the paranormal. No wonder the New York Times is not all over this!

You have to be living in a cave to not comprehend the growing threat to the freedoms of the individual and the masses in this country and the rest of the world. Its all about control. You yourself are controlled by TPTS.
Just looking at the overwhelming evidence would convince any normal person not in the employ of you know who.
You called me, in another thread, selectivly illiterate.
Perhaps this is a better term for you. Can you honestly say that after reading tons (you can read, right?)of information on
world affairs, the militarys dream for control, ie: the airforce "We will own the weather", haarp and it wonderous use to control weather and blasting of citizens, thousands upon thousands of pages of documents and observations on the spraying program, you can still say, nope not us.

Then I submit sir, that you are either very very naive or "selectivly illiterate".
You are for the most part polite and a nice guy,though you do have your moments, but you really need to take up a new occupation. You are not very good as a disinformation agent.

I can read. I've read. My opinion stands, if for no other reason than I have neither seen nor heard anything to make me suspicious, and I am privy to a lot more classified and unclassified government info than you are. And mine is leigitmate, not a unnamed source from god knows where.

I definitely agree with you about the growing threat to our freedoms. That is precisely the reason why I signed on the dotted line.

If not EMP, do you have any theories on what could have brought down these stations? The type of equipment that is getting internal damage is generally protected by some serious shunt and surge protection! What else could create such a large and well targeted beam of energy?

Lightning really is out of the question. Both have stated that there was no evidence of lightning. To create that much internal damage there would have to be at least one visible very large streak.

I don't buy a transformer blowing either. In that case the energy is pretty much the same as is normally present on the line, just alot more of it. This energy is going to release itself as fast as possible. Simple ohms law, it will follow the path of least resistance. It would all have gone through the shunts, not the IC's.

I cannot come up with any better solutions than that it was some sort of targeted energy source. However, being of an open mind I will gladly listen to any other ideas!

I am not buying the transformer blowing either: although theoretically the energy (ie current) will remain the same, the voltage level is increased...this could cause the shunts to burn out becoming worthless. However, I still do not believe that it would take out IC's. I would believe the lines burning apart before that. Internal transformers would blow rendering the unit completely dead before the IC's were taken out.

I think these are some criteria we need to be looking for:

1: Massive EM spike (may or may not be present, depending on if they shield it well)
2: Weather anomaly (or multiple anomalies) in a trajectory indicating ionization of air
3: Tertiary event (ie; something odd appearing in other data)
