I have been receiving more information from my Congreesman Jim McCrery, in reference to the problem with our skies just as he promised and I'm sure there is more on the way. I have to take back the statement I made at another thread when deciding to agree that he was "glossing over". He really seems to be doing the best he can so far and as long as info keeps coming in, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt until things prove otherwise. After all, no sense "shooting the messenger", as they say, until all the data and efforts are presented and correlated. I haven't heard of any other Congressman do so much in reference to the problem thus far, from any other chem activists, so I will consider he is "on it" to the best of his ability and see what all else he comes up with, before I write him off. I will be forwarding any new info to IZAKOVIC at Deepspace 4, DS4, for him to decide how and what he thinks should be done. I am not "giving up" on this issue though, and will continue to correspond with the Congressman and anyone else in authority until things "come out right"! Folks at Chem.trackingUSA are also going to snail-mail McCrery so that will help keep the lines open and the "pot boiling" until it gets resolved to the satisfaction of all of us...He may actually not know what is transpiring yet, but I feel like he is trying pretty hard to find out. I would like not to alienate him early in the game and give him his chance.....after a short, reasonable period of time though, things will have to be "stepped up" in the non-violent campaign to bring the chem issue to lite and solve the situation! I have already learned that the Government already has colorful pamphlets complete with pictures and articles about our skies to give out to people now with "their" explanation on it in reference to the "trails". Maybe others knew of this but I didn't. Got a thick, color pamphlet along with the "other" stuff today. Will keep ya'll posted and hoping and praying for the best. If anyone wants to join in on the "pester the La. I figure, why not "work on" the one Congressman that seems to be working on it and see what transpires...maybe it will end up all "bull" in the long run, but obviously, this fellow isn't done yet so we might as well keep him having "us" and our concerns all KEPT on his mind...the more folks contact one that actually seems to be "working" at his job and not just sending out a short, one-page form letter may be just the one we need. Maybe he is only just getting started and will aquire realization after he does enuf digging and hears from enough folks. A Congressional Investigation is needed but it won't get done if we give up on every Congressman...We have to keep a dialogue open, especially when one seems "open" to the idea and is doing something rather than "chick chasing". I've been steadily "hearing" from this one so I am encouraged and hopeful and only time will tell if "smoke is being blown up my skirt"...but it's no sense in shooting the messenger, (not literally, ya know what I mean), until all the messages are in and correlated and scrutinized. Great job Delphi! Let's not forget our manners and thank yous. While he is hearing from all of us and being active rather than passive and receptive rather than dismissive, he deserves a little credit for not blowing us off like everyone else. This small step could encourage him to continue. My note is in the mail. Remember Grammy's ole "you catch more flies with honey than vinegar". E. Central FL report: Clear for shuttle landing...trails started up right after, although today was the mildest in weeks. Standard. BTW, our newly elected Senator Futch is a neighbor of mine, his daughter interned at my company and she is just now waking up. Pray this could be an in for us in the FL government. Hi Therm, it's good to be back.

FLKook, Thanx for your nice words and input...I sure hope we succeed....maybe, more and more of these Congress "critters" and other folks in authority will "discover" what we already know! I'll just be happy if the "ball gets rolling" no matter who or what finally "makes it happen"! Here's hoping!...and Praying!++++++We had a "banner, blitz" chem event here today in NW Louisiana and I emailed the Congressman while this was going on in the hopes that he would receive the email and go outside and "see" for himself. I asked him to do just that and I hope he got a chance to, as our local skies were lined like crazy with chems and lots of extremely low level altitude aircraft as well...way too low for the standard "ice-crystals" scenario and the planes were the "odd, fat, white ones"...not commercial style, and many, like a convoy...one after the other after the other...no way these low altitude babies were commercial increase in air traffic. And as usual, they all went "home" at a NEasterly heading. Very intense day, many trails, chem wisps, clouds, and some vivid "sun-dogs" too, at low altitude....maybe not from "Ice crystals" but from oily chemplane contents. The whole scenario was kinda freaky. I hope McCrery or one of his cohorts got to look up at that mess today and tonite and think twice and continue snooping and checking around!!!
