So, why not get a rich guy with a jet or a fleet of jets to chase a Mega-Sprayer, get on it's wing, and find out what the heck is going on up there.Organize a ground crew in an active area, to coordinate a private jet scramble, when this activity has been detected. Heck, I thought of it, all by myself.

Nice thought but...A private jet cannot outrun a missle fired from a scrambled F16 going 600 miles and hour. And with Bad Bert now in charge they would not hesitate to shoot.

Well, here's three possibilties for jet owners...Donald Trump, John Travolta, Oprah Winfrey... John Travolta flies his own, and with the exception of working on another bad movie, he's not very busy right now... Do you really think they would shoot him down, just for taking a peek... We still need a good ground crew, to establish spraying activity, and scramble John in one of his jets, to take a look-see... I'm available... How about you...

Hey, even if Travolta could elude the air-to-air missiles, he'd still have the FAA to deal with: http://home.earthlink.net/~quade/lawnchair.html P.S. Welcome, harveyds! Nice to have you on the Board!

Gotta tell ya Harveyds, if they start flying any lower around here, we won't need to jump in an jet. They are getting so low I swear I seen the co-pilot give me the finger!!! You get the plane lined up and we'll work out the ground crew. Travolta is a good friend of Marlon Brando, maybe he could get the "godfather" to step in and mumble a few words in our behalf, leave a horse head over at the shrubs place,or maybe make "them" an offer they can't refuse...

Well, if they're flying low, that opens up some other doors...The typical News Helicopter (can) operate at 15-18 thousand feet, and has a camera that can see another mile or so, but, isn't very fast, 120 kts or so... But, you can park it in a hover, and with the stabilized camera, you've got a poor-mans Hubble Telescope, which (might) provide a better, if not ideal peek-a-boo... Hence, if people really want to know something, the News Media should accept the challenge... There are so many rich and bored guys with jets and choppers, you could assemble and coordinate the equivalent of a Civil Air Force... So, I don't want anyone replying to this post, and saying it can't be done...
