Thermit,I did it, I made it. May I please have one? Please? And FLKook, my 2 cents won't get you a darn thing, shoot, it only gets me in trouble, so don't try. A Chemtrails BS will go great with the "We Are The Largest Street Gang In America. We Are The Police" BS on my beater.

Yeah, I too have wondered where that extra penny goes, FLKook. I just know that I'm not getting it.As to the gender question, for all of you wondering, I would happen to be a female former law enforcement officer. ------------------ Just my $0.02. TXP

Thanks, XPig. FLKook and I have been "accused" of being men. (Of course, we took it well.) But the guys seem to get very concerned when they are incorrectly labeled, so I didn't want to offend.

Ah, the Message feature. (I had a little trouble with this when I first got started, but let's not review that series of posts.)*Go to the main forums page, the one with Chemtrail Central Forum in the upper righthand corner. *Next to the last light bulb, it should say Messages. Click that. *You'll see a page which has Inbox and Outbox. Along the top, under the Chemtrail Central logo, is a line of choices. Click on . *You'll see a page which looks similar to the one you get when you create a new topic. Type in a subject. Select an icon. Type your message in the box. One significant difference is, once it has been sent, you won't be able to edit your message, so you have to do all your corrections properly before you send it. *When you're ready to send the message, look for the Send To: box. Type the recipient's name (in this case, Thermit) in there. (It has to be spelled correctly or it won't go.) *Push the button at the bottom which says Send Private Message. *If you've done it correctly, you'll get Thermit's polite, "Thank you for sending, etc." message. Then you'll be back at the Inbox/Outbox screen. *Your message to Thermit will be in the Outbox with a little closed envelope icon next to it. When Thermit opens your message, the icon will change to one of an open envelope. *To get out of the Message feature, click on the little underlined Chemtrail Central Forum link in the upper righthand corner. Once you start using this feature, you'll love it. It's much nicer than trying to keep track of messages in the midst of e-mail spam.

For me the message is below science forum, but you have to be logged in to access, Above polls is who's on line. To each it's own I guess...

Okay... for some reason the message link has decided to work for me after all. I've seen it there before...don't know why it wasn't working for me when I wanted to use it this time. I managed to make a mistake sending my address. In my first attempt I forgot to type the name of the person into the Send To: box...somehow it still went through but now I don't know who it went to. Does this mean my name and address is out floating around who knows where for who knows who to read?

I'm guessing Thermit is gone for the weekend, so we'll have to wait for his return for an explanation of what happened to your message. It didn't come to my mailbox, so you didn't send it to everyone on the board, anyway. Probably it just got lost in cyberspace. Why don't you try sending a test message to Thermit, and if that works, send your name and address in a second one?

3T3... I sent out a test message to Thermit today and I noticed that when it takes me back to the inbox I don't see any outbox category there... So it appears part of my message sevice thingy isn't working quite right.

Catnip, when you are in the Messages area, try clicking on the Preferences link. You'll have an option to turn the Outbox on. (If I remember correctly!) Then save these new options, and check the Messages area again...

I just tried my messages and it works for me. I guess we'll have to wait for Thermit to untangle the software.

Okay, I checked my records and we've got several people who wanted stickers, but I don't have their address. If you still want a sticker just use the Message feature or email to send it to me (again, if needed)... mark skyroman hitech_46253 Gayle5555 Amber ShadowDancer Moonstar PattyCakes
Any other Senior Members (or soon to be Senior Members) that want a sticker, just read the instructions in the first post, we can take a few more requests.
