As per OceanWave's request the Today's Report thread was deleted. His intentions were to reply to this thread for any reports. Didn't want anyone to think I've gone off the deep end with Mod power.Keep the reports coming...Blue skies again this morning! Looks like LWR made first contact with Diana Reed from Fox. Biz in S. Florida didn't go as well as planned (all hosed up! My job to "unzoo" the situation) so I wasn't able to include her in that trip. I still plan to contact her by phone this week.

This is off-topic because it's about a contrail, which lasted maybe two minutes. It had that on/off/on pattern we sometimes see. I just saw it being formed from east-to-west right over Lubbock. From Flight Explorer, it turned out to be American Airlines Flight 2405 from Dallas to Los Angeles, flying at 35,000 feet. This Flight Explorer is kind of fun.

Lots of white jets overhead today. None leaving chemtrails that I see but usually a mass movement of these guys means they are chemming somewhere close - maybe your town? Lots of chem clouds and at times complete coverage. Actually looking around on: http://www.ghcc.msfc.nasa.gov/GOES/goes8conus.html I see that alsmost all of the US and north are under cloud cover. The haze level here at groung level is up quite abit - go figure...

Today's report from St. Louis. They started out around 7:00am and just like most other days, with the exception of the now less frequent day off, they're heavily at it making those seemingly harmless wispy cloud formations till the sun becomes a mere backlight to ther antics. They usually don't quit till sunset. I expect today will be the same. No camera today, no excuse. I'm hell-bent on getting close-up shots of these aircraft but camcorder zoom not enough even though they seem to cruise pretty low around here. Seems to me if enough poeple get close-up photos of these jets showing that the trails are eminating from other than the engines, someone would have to fess up. Let's put the pressure on 'em. Aren't there any Photographers on this site with trails overhead?

Wed report: Super heavy fog until noon. When it lifted there were numerous remnants of CTs littering the sky above. Had only about a couple of hrs of somewhat clear skies, the temp rose to over 60 and the heavy thunderstorms rolled in to last for several hours. I haven't lived in AR for over thirty years but this is certainly odd weather to be having in Jan. This is Mar, Apr or May weather for these parts.Hoople

Naw. Snow doesn't accumulate here. (Praise God! I still remember Michigan winters.) It'll be mostly melted by tonight. It was a surprise, though, because the dogs woke me up at midnight. It looked like a dust storm and all the windows were rattling. So I wasn't expecting to see white stuff blanketing the ground this morning.

Nothing in Carlsbad/San Diego area today.. Just comits behind a couple planes here and there.. I am really starting to like Thursdays... I am going to get back to that topic in a bit, because I still think that here in SD, Tuesdays and Thursdays are little or no spray days usually.

Fog and rain turning to snow here. It is really warm so I don't know if it will happen. Weather report in the paper seems confused by this non-typical warm, humid, variable cloud weather. USA today (Wed)had a thing on the weather page about sunrings and how "coronas might ring sun, moon next week". It looks like someone had sent in an "ask the experts" about them. They happen quite a bit here under certain induced conditions.

Just wanted to report in, it's been clear in CA for two straight days, not a trail in sight, ever. I've also found some really really odd radar footage, but that's in a new topic. Feel free to check it out, I'd like to hear some feedback on what it might be.

Report from St. Louis 1-24-02 Rained last night, cloudy today, no aircraft, no trails. 1-25-02 Waited till now to post 'cause I was sure they would start sometime today considering it's a crystal clear afternoon. Not a cloud or chem in the sky. Nearly 50 degrees F.What gives? Did we do something wrong? Are they finished? Somehow I don't think so. Happy trails.

Well, the other shoe dropped. They're back, crisscrossing the sky to our west. The first trails showed up just after lunch to destroy what had been a beautiful two days. The weatherman said rain for the next couple of days. Once again they seem to target just before a front comes in. Fog like cloud and chem coverage already overhead. Guesss it's our turn.

1-25-02A beautiful spring like day here. Supposedly the next four days will be the same with temps in the upper 60s. No CTs just contrails (an enjoyable sight). Now, let's see what the weekend brings.

We've had a couple of really nice days here... with just scattered clouds compared to the usual grey winter sky. I haven't seen very many trails this month... I don't miss them either.

central AZ,very sporatic the last several days, mostly around ME:}. Today, they started for real again.White supertankers running trails horizon to horizon. Some expanding to psuedo-cirrus,most of the "Heavier than air" flavour, fairly "Domed" by sundown. I was starting to think that the hundreth monkey had looked to the sky and said to themselves"what the HELL are they doing up there?"But I guess not, least not today. On a brighter note, the MOST lovely creature I have ever known said today that she would "do me"if I win the powerball tonight.($92,000,000)ye it's 86000000 to 1,but it's better odds than no chance in hades! The real kick was when I pointed out a supertanker in full spew and a 30 degree turn and said"that's not normal" she said "Yeh,tptb are praticing for when they cull us!!!!!!" WOW,MY KINDA GIRL! ya'll have a better tomorrow. jim

What started off with very normal looking fog burned off to reveal a chemdome with many trails. Their still spraying as I type. Guess the fog made a good cover for them to get started. What are they doing up there????

They're killing us.Eyes, the fog early AM was not unusual for this time of year and conditions. But after the usual 10-11AM burn off it revealed a horror show. They're still at it. They're killing us.

I keep checking out the sat. shots and there are definate trails filling in the holes. It is completely clouded over here and there is a lot of haze reducing visibility. It will be interesting to track the progress of your "cloud" mass that is forming right now. I am saving the sat shots...

This is the sat link I have, could you post the one you are looking at? Thanks. It's full on white out now. BTW, the normal fog would have normally given way to a blue sky not an overcast day. http://www.ssec.wisc.edu/data/geo/east/ Edit for bad code. Sigh.
