Within an hour of being home to our house just outside of the city and on the north side of the Vienna woods you could see several trails. There were many X's.

Even tonight as the sun set you could see the trails and the false clouds.

Compared to people in N.A., the Austrians are very active, outdoors people. We walked in the woods today and met several people on the trails either biking or walking.

I am guessing that the 'spayers' took advantage of the nice weather knowing that people would be out and spayed.

I hope the pictures I took turn out. IT amazes me that people do not notice. We are not on a high flight path and usually see very few planes over our house as the airport is south of city and we are north. Why on a Sunday is there all this flight activity? Population control? Inducing sickness? Testing chemicals on innocent people? This really ticks me

I looked at the horizon and saw that lower down, the sky appeared to be normal looking with a clearly defined border where the haze ended.

I know it may not be a higher purpose but I was really looking forward to a wonderful evening watching the super bowl with my husband. We start the grill. We go in to the yard and what had been fine from sunrise till 4:00 ( when I returned from the store) is now a littered mess of muck for all who cares to look up an see. It makes me sick.

There has been no time to read and catch up on all the posts today but I will tomorrow. Thank you everyone for your reports.

I encourage everyone to read the fuel dump thread at the science forum. It is a part of the equation but I cannot see it as the cause for them to fly continually over the same airspace.

Builder, it's nice to see someone from FL.

After the weekend attack from the air, there has been little air traffic over my house. Yesterday it was non stop. Makes you wonder why the planes are hard at it on the weekend while everyone is outside enjoying the sun and warm temperatures and come Monday morning, they skies are clear.

The RUC model data are representations of the complete 3-dimensional structure of wind, temperature, and humidity over the USA at a resolution of 25 mb and 40 km. The horizontal resolution has been degraded to 1° latitude x 1° longitude to facilitate the computations. Because they are based on a sparse number of actual in situ (balloon sonde) data taken every 12 hours and satellite measurements, the RUC data are not a perfect representation of the various meteorological parameters, especially water vapor. All estimates of persistent contrail formation conditions are based on a modified Appleman curve using three different engine propulsion efficiencies. To give some idea of where contrails may form, but are not diagnosed, we have included information about RHI for values above 70% for single-level plots.

Anyway, I saw an interesting post from a gal in Whittier, CA.. My room mate used to live there.. It's only about 80 miles north of me.

"Hey everyone, sorry for the lack of updates. I'll explain in the report...
Southern CA started getting trailed on Saturday, the 26th, not much that I could see, but as the sun went down more and more came into view. I got out the digital camera and am going to upload the snapshots once I get the images downloaded and resized. Anyway, I woke up with a sore throat on Saturday, which seemed to get worse as the day wore on, and which left me sick, even as I type this. Wonder what caused this mysterious sickness ? Anyway, we were trailed Saturday and Sunday, but for Monday and today we've had no trails at all."

GUESS WHAT? You're not alone in your sore throat. We got hammed real hard on Friday.. Friday night I started getting a sore throat.. By saturday it was into a full blown "cold like symptoms"... And let me tell you, we had absolute white out on Saturday down here... It was the worst hammering I have ever seen them do.. And I find it coincidental that I happen to get sick at the same time. Anyway, as the skys cleared, my symptoms also cleared... My cold was gone by Wednesday.... And thank god for that..

This last weekend, they gave us a break here in Southern Cal... NO SPRAYING AT ALL SAT, SUN, or EVEN TODAY!! HORRAY!!!! I guess it makes up for all the CRAP they piled on us the previous weekend that made us all sick.

Unfortunately, the contrail prediction site is down, and I can't remember exactly what the picture shows. Basically, Dr. Minnis and his colleagues have weather forecasts of what temperatures and relative humidities will occur at various altitudes across the continental U.S. They plug that into a contrail prediction model and predict what locations and what altitudes are likely to produce contrails. It's like being able to look at all the ADDS temperature and relative humdity information all at once. (The ADDS site is down right now, too, but here's the URL: http://adds.aviationweather.noaa.gov/projects/adds/flight_path/ )

The map that comes up when the site is active is a set of circles. The larger the diameter of the circle and the closer toward blue it is in the spectrum, the lower the altitude of the predicted contrail. The smaller the diameter of the circle and the closer toward red it is in the spectrum, the higher the altitude of the predicted contrail.

The last time I saw an unusual marking, it wasn't long before they started spraying again.

Also, earlier in the day, I observed two suspicious looking jets making a pass overhead almost running in a parallel trajectory but at slightly different altitudes. As they passed out of sight, I heard both of them begin to slow down.

From time to time during the day, I also noticed an occasional chemtrail mixed in with the clouds.

3Feb02: A mackrel sky or, as I always called it - a washboard sky. Very aesthetic patterns to the clouds but no CTs until 6:15 p. m. when I looked up coming out of the store and one was running NW to SE from horizon to horizon.
