Hey! I go 60 WPM and don't look back. And theseeker is hardly the most literate of our 'members' at CTC. He must be running my posts through spell-check. Weird.Anyway, I simply skip the nonsense now. I already know what the contents of many posts are likely to be depending on the poster. If it's by someone who isn't likely to have the best interests of the issue at heart, it doesn't get read. Whoa. That just gave me a great idea. Imagine if there was a software function that would allow you to selectively remove the posts by certain members for you and you alone. Put somebody on your block list and they're history. Hmmm...

I've heard of an ignore feature for forums before, but it can get kind of tricky to implement, not to mention confusing as hell too...

Hey Defender!!!!!!I think you misunderstood my post! It wasn't aimed at you...It was a comment on the sort of assumptions some posters make about others....it was a comment on the intellectual standard of the posts. I didn't mind you flirting...I never thought you were anything other than male....And I was a little surprised Lulu was keeping tabs on who you flirt with and who you don't!
The thing i said about head between legs...was meant to convey I felt sick...it was said tongue in cheek.....I have been to that board on two occasions....as I said in another post...it left a bad taste in my mouth....but it does explain why things have gone the way they have here recently....

I live near a large Air Force Base and a commercial airport. I’ve lived here all of my life and am used to seeing contrails. What we are seeing in the skies the last few years is not the same as what I was previously accustomed to seeing. As to the why of it, I don’t have a clue. All I can tell you is that the contrails last longer, spread out, and become clouds or haze. Not only the sky is different…the weather is different. I’ve seen weather cycles come and go over the years, but the weather is markedly different the last few years. Is that due to the “trails” or maybe the sun’s strange behavior of late? I don’t know. All I know is the weather is “different”.
Last, but not least…there seems to be a lot more folks with sinus and upper respiratory problems and diseases like fibromyalgia or lupus. Is there a connection between the three problems or is it coincidental? Are these things happening worldwide, nationwide or regionally? There are various theories and explanations for all of these things. Are there fuel additives that are causing the long-lasting contrails? Is the government spraying us with something? Is somebody ELSE spraying us with the government’s knowledge? Is it harmful or helpful? A military defense mechanism of some type? Climate control? Behavior modification? Protection from disease? Protection from the sun? None of the above? If there is something deliberate going on, why aren’t we being informed about it by our government? Is it the old “need to know basis” thing? If there ISN’T anything deliberate going on, then what are the explanations for the differences in contrails, weather, environment and health that we are experiencing and are they interrelated? I have no science, military, weather or medical background. I’m just observant, curious and concerned. I started noticing these things a few years ago and I started looking for information…from supposedly learned people as well as just plain folks. I don’t know whether there is anything actually sinister going on, but I do know SOMETHING is happening and I would like to know why. I don’t see that curiosity as being foolish or paranoid behavior, and I don’t mind if people disagree with me. I do think it serves no useful purpose to resort to personal attacks, although they are sometimes entertaining! Opinions and debate are fine. What we really need, of course, is some actual verifiable proof to back up our assumptions and opinions…for or against. And, while we are at it, maybe we can make a few new friends and have a little fun along the way. Scanner

Thanks, Scanner! I think you have outlined the chemtrail question perfectly. "Something" is wrong, and we're all here trying to figure out what it is. The skeptics can mock us, but sooner or later, working together, we'll figure out what the truth is!

Recall doesn't quit... I’ve lived here all of my life and am used to seeing contrails. What we are seeing in the skies the last few years is not the same as what I was previously accustomed to seeing. Exactly Scanner! Who knows how long the spray program has been in effect, but the common observation is that it's been stepped up over the past 2-3 years. Keep watching those skies, and of course, keep that mind open!

Here in South Jersey, we have been having wet weather the last few days--fog, rain, mist--mostly overcast---I can't see a thing up there.

Thanks for Pix. I put them up as wallpaper. Great shots, esp. the classic X. I have Pix too, but can't get them out there for some reason. Also, I am now without printers. Am able to use USPS, that's all, but they make me go to the Post Office. Horrible how they're shutting everything down because of the 9/11.

I knew there was a reason why I wasn't keeping track of this thread. But, I found it a bit ironic that as I'm reading through this, the banner at the bottom of the page was for Tolerance.org. And that is something that I'm just not seeing here. I am not taking sides. I am not saying that any one person is right or wrong. All I'm saying is that isn't it time to act like adults and get back to the subject at hand, in this case "trails", be they chem or con. It's just a thought, and if anyone wants to flame me for posting this, so be it. 'Cause I don't care. TXP
