SUPLIES NEEDED FOR A FIELD KIT:

1)disposible sergical gloves.

2)disposible plastic jars with labels & tamper proof sealing lids(individualy packaged new)

3)disposible scoops/tungue depressores(individualy packaged new)

4)sterol cotton swabs(individualy packaged/long stick preferably)

5)"chain of custudy and origins "form 4-17906 (sourse E.P.A.

use acrobat reader to view,find the example of the form by scrolling close to the bottom print out form ,and make a master copy in which to make copy`s from.
you may also want to review the documents in the pdf file to be sure you follow the same protocal as they do"this will asure that they can not refuse the samples for testing for some step that was missed"and they will look for anything to use as an excuse not to test "so please use all requiered steps and recording proceedure.

6)a polariod instantmatic camera w/flash
(take photos of the area,close ups of the samples you wish to recover as you found them,of the sample being removed off of the surface,placing in jar,recording info on jar label"use a waterproof nonremovible ink pen"and as many photos of the recovery and documenting activity as posible.

7)a new plastic toolbox ,as the kind paramedics use.

NOTE:you will want to recover a split of two identical sample groups,each with own documents ,sample identification on jars and records must be identical .
One group will go to the E.P.A.,the other to an reputable outside independent lab,this two group/two lab methode will asure test results redundancy "or should i say it...to keep the E.P.A. on there toes,because with the samples and documents to the E.P.A. you will inform them that a second group of the same ,from the same is being sent to another lab "name included.
