3T-I have a question regarding the Is Barium present in Chemtrails thread on the Science Forum. Since this is more speculative than fact I didn't want to post on that board. Toxdoc gave several scenarios as to why he believed Cliff's study was wrong. One of them was they presence of fossil fuels being in the area. He than states that the burning of fossil fuels will create Barium in the atmosphere. My question relates to the burning fossil fuels scenario. I live in a very heavy coal area. We mine it, we burn it, we scrub it...if you can do it to coal we do it around here! We also have had an increase in "ChemFlu" type illness. Our area began to be hit hard by chemtrails in the last year and a half. My question is: Is it possible that whatever it is that they are spraying, either on purpose or accidentally, is trapping these toxins within our breathable air space. Many have referred to a "ChemDome" effect, haze that seems to trap the air at ground level. I have noticed that as the humidity rises the air gets "dirtier", as would be expected. Anyway, like I said, I am no scientist...I just know that something is going on and thought this may be possible. Anita

I love posting tables. It's like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're going to get. This one comes from http://www.tva.gov/power/tri/shawnee.htmShawnee Fossil [Coal-Fired] Plant-TVAInhalation health risk assessments performed at all TVA fossil plants show no significant health risks to employees or members of the public from the release of any of these chemicals. 1999 Data All amounts are in pounds | Chemical | Air1 | Water2 | Land3 | | Total Releases | | Barium Compounds | 6,028 | 2,567 | 2,030,478

Aura, you asked, "Is it possible that whatever it is that they are spraying, either on purpose or accidentally, is trapping these toxins within our breathable air space?" It's possible, Aura. Even a large number of real contrails might turn into cloud cover and trap the toxins beneath them. And it could make the sky look like "chemdome." As you can see from the chart, the barium in coal is not the only pollutant which could be making people sick. But I'm only speculating here, and I'd be glad to get some hard data on this subject from anybody else who knows more than I do on this topic.

3T-Well, thanks for that information (I think), Chemtrails or no that doesn't look too good! I don't know much about Barium, but last I heard Acids and Metals were not very good for you! Anita
