Is Drought The Main Weapon to Force Humans Off The Land As The Plan Dictates? http://cuttingedge.org/news/n1368.cfm Using the most flowery language possible, and invoking the specter of environmental disaster, the U.S. House has overwhelmingly passed a bill setting aside the huge amount of $45 BILLION to buy up land. Soon, they will be out of "open" land, coming for yours and mine! That is the New World Order Plan. Weather Control http://cuttingedge.org/articles/weather.cfm Drought Grips Much of U.S. http://www.cnn.com/2002/WEATHER/08/15/drought.heat/index.html Drought assessment places 49 percent of the contiguous United States in "moderate to severe" drought conditions -- due in part to the fifth-warmest July on record. Like their counterparts on the United States side of the Rio Grande, Mexican farmers believe the 1944 water treaty between the United States and Mexico is being improperly handled. Their issue, however, is that farmers in Tamaulipas are bearing the brunt of the water payments, while farmers in Chihuahua are said to have plenty of water to irrigate their crops. "Since 1993, they’ve been using water that was assigned to Tamaulipas to pay the treaty," said Miñana, who lives in Matamoros. Mexican police reported to bridge officials that between 1,000 and 1,500 protesters took part in the blockade. Other early reports, however, had the numbers at 100 to 150.

I used to visit Matamoris all the time when I lived on South Padre. Used to eat at a little joint called 'Garcia's'. Good Stuff.I suspect that they may be attempting to herd the sheeple eastward, as I have mentioned before. The hardware states are generally in the west and so is most of the 'unpopulated' land. In the event of this IRAQ conflict they want as many people Eastward so the 'terrorist' attacks (biological) can be focused on large Eastern Cities and accordingly with the concept of eugenics wipe out as many people as possible. Of course this is somewhat far fetched, but I make it a point not to disclude any possibility. I think you're doing a good job Hitech and you're right on target. They're 'creating' this drought for some reason, no doubt. It could also be as Izakovic has mentioned; that the drought is an unintended effect that is considered acceptable based upon maintenance of atmospheric conductivity.

HERE IT IS IN A NUTSHELL GUYS!! AMERIKA WILL BURN UP.. Posted By: tenavision Date: Thursday, 15 August 2002, 9:11 p.m. {It is IMPORTANT to read this whole piece. It isn't very long..just a few minutes..for us all and our children..} Oregon is burning copied from http://austin.indymedia.org/front.php3?article_id=3403&group=webcast Oregon is burning by Hanora 1:37pm Sun Aug 11 '02 My name is Hanora. I hide my true identity for safety purposes, not mine, by my community. I have lived in Oregon for all my life. I lived in the deep forests until recently. I came to the city to try to wake the people up. My main community is the people who live in the mountains between the valleys and the oceans. These areas were once great rain forests. Most of the humans who live in these mountains and forests are considered to be poor. Many do not possess electricity, indoor plumbing, or good drinkable water. But we have a connection to the earth. We must trust the earth for our survival. So we listen and watch. I am writing this message from that connection with the earth. We are in grave danger. The community people from Southern Oregon say that the big forest fires in Southwest Oregon were intentionally set. Some community people looked for the area where the fires were set and found the headwaters of the fire. They tried to get others to look at these areas and when they came back to the area, forest service and other law enforcement officers kept them out. Then the area was burned over again. We believe that the fires were set to create a political climate in which the rainforests of the West Coast will be permanently destroyed. Many community people, those close to the earth, and protectors of the earth, have been burned out of their homes. We have nothing to lose by posting this message to others who might be willing to wake up. We have lived in the Oregon forests for a long time. Collectively we span 80 years. Our ancestors span many more years. We have a memory. What is happening in Oregon happened before. Please do not turn away from this message. Please listen to us. We have something grave to share with you. We also believe that in a short time the internet will be taken down and we will not be able to share with you anymore, except in person-to-person contact in our communities. So please do not excuse this message as some crackpot, lunatic fringe. We post this message with our courage, truth and peace. In the 1980's the regime of George Bush, Sr. came to Oregon. During his reign of terror he was able to take down a quarter of the rain forests of Oregon and the West Coast. He was also able to corrupt the communities of Oregon so that we could not fight back. So deep was this corruption that even today whole communities are afraid of each other. He played old timers against newcomers, and young against old, and old time farmers against new sustainable farmers. He told the logging families that the hippies in the woods were here to destroy them. He spread fear and then he helped corporate logging companies cut down millions of acres of forests, including old growth. The trees were cut into logs and sent overseas for cheap production. The local mills lay off workers and blamed the layoffs on environmentalists. The people were filled with fear of each other so they could not act to help each other. It was during this time that we lost our healthy drinking water. The clearcuts of the forests destroyed the streams and sources of drinking water. Many people fell into poverty. The scar is still present in all communities of Oregon. We are unorganized and unable to stop the present destruction of the forests. You who think this is a regional war, and will not be affected by this rape of the earth, are mistaken. You who live in the Midwest, in the cities, on the east coast who think this damage to the rainforests has nothing to do with you, are mistaken. This is not about saving a pretty place on the earth. It is about saving the future of North America. THE SEEDS FOR SURVIVAL The coast range of British Columbia, Washington State, and Oregon is a rain forest that is vital to moisture throughout North America. The Pacific Ocean creates clouds from condensation. The clouds raise up onto the land mass just off the West Coast of North America, ...now this is important...THE RAINFORESTS OF THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST, CANADA, AND NORTHERN CALIFORINA SEED THE CLOUDS WITH MOISTURE! The clouds laden with moisture travel across the western states, deserts, valleys, then to the Midwest...the so-called breadbasket of the America, and dump their moisture. Without this moisture...without healthy rainforests, the middle part of America will dry up and burn up. We in Oregon no longer expect people from other parts of North America to care about the rainforests for the sake of this region. But, if you knew that your own safety and future was at stake would you start to care? THE NOW George Bush Jr. is here. His armies of federal police, corporate lackeys, and mis-information media have us in a strangle hold. Already the corporate media is saying the big fires of Southwest Oregon were caused because environmentalist would not let corporate logging companies cut down the forests. Already, the community people are being told that they need to move to the cities because it is not safe to live next to the forests...too much fire danger. They want us to move away so we will not report on what they are doing to the forests. The logging companies and local arm of corporate media are spreading misinformation and hatred. Hatred and fear is once again being spread amongst the people so we cannot help each other. We are asking you to help us. Rise up! Turn off those damn televisions...it is a drug....to keep you asleep and immovable. Do not believe the lies. We are fast moving into a war culture that is on the move. Like a great crusade to steal the natural resources of each country of the planet, all economic, political, and cultural resources are being diverted into war. Once it is =over, there will be no food, or drinking water. Millions of humans, and an untold number of other species will be destroyed. Other humans will be sick from environmental degradation. There already is no healthcare for many in America and other countries to help those who are sick. The earth is losing its other communities. These plants, and animals and insects are vital to our survival. If you cannot love these communities for their own sake, for their beauty, peace and truth, love them because in them is locked YOUR survival. This is the truth of my community. Will you now turn away and say we are lunatics? Do you have courage to find the truth for yourself and unhook from the addictions that pin you to inaction? We believe in the near future there will be no internet. We believe that you will need to come out of your houses and away from you computers to talk to one on one. Are you up to it? Can you spread courage and peace? Will you even remember how to talk to each other. I have to go now. I have a fire to fight. A fire that burns across the land and engulfs all that is peaceful, sustaining, and healthy. Peace and courage to you Hanora

Drought Grips Parched Northeast By Catherine Lucey Associated Press Writer Friday, August 16, 2002; 6:30 PM PHILADELPHIA –– The drought parching the Northeast, already one of the worst in decades, continues to lower groundwater levels, damage crops and force states to increase water restrictions. And experts say the end is nowhere in sight. Given the drought's length and severity, scientists say it will take more than a few thunderstorms to help the arid land. "We don't see anything in the near term future that's going to break this drought," Doug LeComte, a drought specialist with the National Weather Service Climate Prediction Center, said Friday. Parts of Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Maryland are under drought emergencies, which limits car washing, lawn watering and the filling of pools. Three counties in Pennsylvania have also banned outdoor burning. Last week, Gov. Mark Schweiker added counties to the list of those under a drought emergency, while Baltimore last week made its restrictions mandatory.Meanwhile, farmers are struggling with the poorest corn crop in years and limited water for livestock. "In some places the corn isn't dead, but in some it's dried up it's turning brown," said Shelva Maines, 62, who owns a farm with her husband in Newville. "You have your fall crops that you want to plant, but is it worth planting if there's no moisture in the ground?" Dennis Butterbaugh, spokesman for the Department of Environmental Protection in Pennsylvania, said corn yields are about a quarter of what they are usually. "The corn is a dead giveaway. It's reaching to the sky asking for help," he said. About 40 percent of the nation is in a severe drought, said Mark Svoboda a climatologist with the National Drought Mitigation Center at the University of Nebraska. Usually only about 10 percent of the nation is in a state of drought.Nationally, Svoboda said, this is probably the third worst drought in history after the droughts in the 1930s and 1950s.The New England and Mid-Atlantic states suffered a very dry winter, dropping groundwater levels, Svoboda said. After a few showers improved conditions in May and June, July was extremely dry, and projections for the next few months aren't encouraging. "What isn't comforting about that is that it's not showing a wet signal," he said. "Even 'normal' isn't going to bail us out." A hurricane might be the only immediate way to get enough moisture, he said. Officials are worried by projections that show it may be months before significant amounts of rain or snow. "How good is long range forecasting? I don't know," said Kurt Kocher, spokesman for the Baltimore Department of Public Works. "We're hoping that they're wrong and we do get some water." ––– On the Net:The National Drought Mitigation Center: http://www.drought.unl.edu/index.htmThe National Weather Service Climate Prediction Center: http://www.cpc.ncep.noaa.gov http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A27896-2002Aug16.html

Others WILL care but likely TOO LATE! They WILL care as the food is disappearing and prices skyrocket. They ARE caring as more and more 'restrictions' laws, fines and costs multiply and escalate. A person can't grasp the full scope of this problem unless they understand that our own government, (actually HIJACKED government) is at WAR with the people here! This for the purpose of REMOVING them from the land, by hook or by CROOKS, so the land can be turned over to the globalist Banksters! It is not just this country either!

The thing is, Herbivore, that there is other work in the East. A lot of the people throughout the drought and fire stricken land are going to have to relocate. I highly doubt they'll relocate anywhere around there. Same with the farmers... even if it was dry in the East... that's where the population is; hence the economy, without the benefit of water. To be quite honest with you I really don't know. That's why it's a theory. sniff sniff I smell a troll

By drying up people's WELLS, they can no longer use their lands effectively. Linda Moulton Howe, live on Coast to Coast August 27, 2002, missed the whole point completely! You cannot blame the ongoing drought just on global warming. See http://www.carnicom.com/drought1.htm and http://lookupabove.tripod.com/chemtrailsoveramerica/ . Every farmer fighting tooth and nail to save their farm ought to read the corresponding article on drought at Ms. Howe's website: http://www.earthfiles.com/news/news.cfm?ID=387&category=Environment It mentions restrictions on irrigators, bans on digging more wells for water, restrictions on pumping of well water, and conflicts over water between domestic homeowners and agricultural farmers. I personally know about 20 farmers who are going to hit to roof when they see Howe's article! These farmers are at their wits end, if it's not drought it's extreme deluges of rain. Most of their fields are nothing but weeds, and what is growing is doing poorly thanks also to pH changes and heavy metal toxicity from chemtrails and other air pollutants. Who will feed America if drought continues? Mark Svoboda, National Drought Mitigation Center, whom Ms. Howe interviewed for her article, has previously been informed about chemtrails but does not acknowledge they play a part in the ongoing drought. Ms. Howe can be reached at earthfiles@earthfiles.com and Mr. Svoboda can be reached at msvoboda2@unl.edu

Towns are still dry, despite a little rainPiedmont cities keep restrictions JOE DEPRIEST Staff Writer Storms that flooded parts of eastern North Carolina on Monday brought little relief to Piedmont towns running out of drinking water because of drought. Officials in Shelby, Cleveland County, Bessemer City, Cherryville and Statesville said the spotty showers helped by providing a few days' water supply, but much more rain is needed over a longer period to make any real difference. Meanwhile, they have no plans to relax mandatory water restrictions. "It seems like we've got an umbrella over us up here," said Butch Smith, director of the Cleveland County Sanitary District, which has 50,000 customers in rural areas north of Shelby. "We've gotten a little rain, but all it's done is buy us time. The drought isn't over. September and October are our driest months." In Statesville, the 0.2-inch rainfall helped little because, while the city needs to cut consumption to 2 million gallons a day, average daily consumption remains at about 2.6 million. Meanwhile, the city temporarily cut off its water pumps from the South Yadkin River this week because heavy rains north of the city brought extremely muddy water into the system. Cutting off the pumps kept the muddy water out of the city's reservoir and treatment plant. Muddy water is harder, and sometimes impossible, to treat, city officials said. Rain last week perked up the almost-dry First Broad River, helping both the sanitary district and the city of Shelby. The flow was enough to allow the city to start tapping into its main water source again after 16 days of having to buy water from Kings Mountain. Officials said rain within the First Broad's basin, which reaches into Rutherford and McDowell counties, has strengthened the flow, but they expected it to drop again when hot weather creeps back. On Aug. 16, Shelby stopped buying up to 2 million gallons of water daily from Kings Mountain, saving up to $3,700 a day. The water comes from a temporary hookup at Moss Lake, Kings Mountain's reservoir. Shelby also has been paying up to $850 a day for water from a private lake. The city of 20,000 is about 45 miles west of Charlotte on U.S. 74.Shelby officials said mandatory restrictions that went into effect Aug. 1 cut water usage in half to an average of 3.5 million gallons per day. Shelby City Finance Director Ted Phillips said the drought could cost the city nearly $2 million -- money not in Shelby's $63 million budget. Officials hope Gov. Mike Easley will declare a state of emergency to help pay some of the costs.Bessemer City in western Gaston County is spending about $1,400 a day to buy 750,000 gallons of water from neighboring Kings Mountain. City Manager Joe Albright said the city had already budgeted nearly $70,000 to buy six weeks of water -- an action that usually takes place during the dry months of October and November. Albright said that money should run out within a few weeks. Cherryville, in northwest Gaston County, is still getting 350,000 gallons of water per day at $1.25 per 1,000 gallons -- $4,375 a day -- through an emergency hookup with Lincoln County. Interim Cherryville City Manager David Lowe said the city doesn't pump continuously. And, he said, three new wells will provide additional water to the city soon. Ryan Bowles, associate state climatologist, said scattered showers will continue this week, but he didn't expect the long-term soaking rain that is needed. -- STAFF WRITER KATHRYN WELLIN CONTRIBUTED TO THIS ARTICLE. http://www.charlotte.com/mld/charlotte/news/local/3951773.htm

I have a friend that came up from Charlotte for a visit about a week ago and he told me that the water level of the lake that he lives by now has dropped over 5 feet. I've got another friend that just sent me an instant message saying that he's on vacation in South Carolina and it's raining down there now. Here in Stamford it's been raining since about 3:00 AM and so far we've gotten about inches of precipitation, bringing the total amount of rainfall for the month up to a little over 3 inches. I also received this from the National weather service. quote: Flood Statement National Weather Service New York Ny 1240 PM EDT Thu Aug 29 2002 ... Local Urban And Poor Drainage Flooding Is Expected In Fairfield And New Haven Counties... Doppler Radar Indicated Heavy Rain Will Continue Through The Mid Afternoon Hours Before Tapering Off... And May Result In Local Urban And Poor Drainage Flooding. Some Small Creeks And Streams May Reach Bankfull Or Just Above. Do Not Drive Your Vehicle Into Areas Where The Water Covers The Roadway. Be Prepared To Take Action If The Flooding Threat Increases Or A Warning Is Issued.

Thanks for the information Penumbra. My friend did mention that they couldn't use the boat docks because of the lack of water and now I see that it's just as bad as he described it. Friday, Aug. 30, 2002 Virginia Gov. Bans Lawn Watering
RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Virginia Gov. Mark R. Warner banned lawn watering, residential car-washing and filling of most swimming pools in much of the state on Friday because of the severe drought. Only the northern Virginia suburbs of Washington, D.C., and the southwestern tip of Virginia were exempted from the executive order, which formally makes the drought a state civil emergency. It comes despite several days of rain that have failed to ease the lingering drought that has devastated hundreds of millions of dollars worth of crops and left some localities with only a few days supply of water. ``Some Virginians may say, 'Well, why now?''' Warner said. ``The fact is a few days of rain don't alleviate what has been a three-year drought condition. We don't need to be lulled into a false sense of security that the drought has passed us.'' Penalties and policing, however, are up to localities, not all of whom have imposed any restrictions or fines for violators. Warner said he is encouraging cities and counties in the watering ban area to enact penalties. An area of exceptional drought - the most severe category - currently extends from central Virginia down through the heart of the Carolinas into central Georgia. Today: September 01, 2002 at 20:05:14 PDT Calif. Wildfire Forces Evacuation ASSOCIATED PRESS AZUSA, Calif.- A wildfire spread rapidly across 4,000 acres of national forest Sunday, sending thousands of holiday campers fleeing. The fire was burning in the Azusa Canyon area of the Angeles National Forest about 30 miles east of Los Angeles. About 7,000 to 8,000 campers were told to evacuate campgrounds. "This was a holiday weekend and the canyon was full of people," state Department of Forestry dispatcher James Arthur said. Nearly 5,300 acres of brush were aflame across California. In El Dorado County east of Sacramento, a fire destroyed one house and threatened at least 30 others. It had consumed 700 acres Sunday and was 30 percent contained. A 15-year-old boy was in the county's juvenile hall in connection with the fire. A second boy, also 15, was questioned then released to his family, sheriff's Lt. Kevin House said. One boy was playing with matches when the fire started Saturday between the cities of El Dorado Hills and Rescue, House said. In San Bernardino County, a 554-acre fire was 46 percent contained Sunday. Investigators were trying to determine whether a burned body and an incendiary device were connected to the blaze that started Thursday. The device was discovered Sunday morning, said U.S. Forest Service spokeswoman Ruth Wenstrom. She had no further details. Nationwide, the National Interagency Fire Center reported 17 large active fires Sunday that were burning 660,000 acres. --- On the Net: National Interagency Fire Center: http://www.nifc.gov/ -- http://www.lasvegassun.com/sunbin/stories/nat-gen/2002/sep/01/090102153.html __________________________________________________________________ Today: September 01, 2002 at 15:35:18 PDT Apaches Try to Salvage Scorched Land ASSOCIATED PRESS PHOENIX- Tribal leaders have begun trying to salvage what they can of land once covered with pine and juniper forests that burned down this summer in a devastating wildfire on the Fort Apache Reservation. The White Mountain Apache tribe is focusing on halting erosion on denuded hills, rebuilding an ecosystem and harvesting dead trees they depend on for their livelihood. The Chediski fire in June merged with another blaze and grew into the worst wildfire in Arizona's history. The combined inferno destroyed at least 467 homes and scorched nearly 469,000 acres of land. The Bureau of Indian Affairs says 300,000 of those acres were tribal grounds. The destruction was so thorough that people on the economically depressed range aren't even speaking of recovery. It may take centuries, they say, for nature to heal completely. On Tuesday, officials will start an operation to save soil by dropping thousands of bales of straw from a helicopter, a process called aerial mulching. The mulch holds moisture that soaks the ground and holds dirt in place. Officials hope that will provide stable ground for grass seeds dropped last month to grow and, eventually, a home for new pine seedlings. "It can take 100 years to regrow a tree," said BIA forester David Raney. "It can take 300 to 500 years to replace soil." Meanwhile, desperate economic straits are forcing the tribe to sell logs for the first time in its history. In the past, the tribe sold only processed lumber, a business that provided jobs. But the fire left about 800 million board feet of dead timber, far more than can be handled at tribal mills. That means the tribe must harvest as much timber as it can to sell before it rots. The Chediski fire was started by a woman who said she was trying to signal a news helicopter after she became lost on the Fort Apache Indian Reservation. It merged with another fire allegedly started by a tribal member who hoped to get a job as a firefighter. http://www.lasvegassun.com/sunbin/stories/nat-gen/2002/sep/01/090101754.html

UN eyes control of world drinking water supplies http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/africa/2221305.stm Delegates at the World Summit on Sustainable Development in Johannesburg have called for urgent action to provide clean drinking water and decent sanitation to billions of the world's poorest people. UN Eyes Controlling Drinking Water Supplies Summit confronts "water crisis" http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/world/africa/2221305.stm (Now Alex Jones had the same opportunity I do to show this as the ultimate in 'PROBLEM REACTION SOLUTION' and he did NOT!) The Chemtrail Crisis - An Overview and Update http://www.healthresearchbooks.com/articles/chemtrails2.htm It is no secret that America's military-industrial megalith is secretly altering earth's atmosphere in frightening ways. Huge numbers of aircraft are now kept aloft to create "clouds" with ultra-tiny, ionized metallic particles. HAARP-generated microwave pulses are continually used to heat and agitate the ionosphere. Synthetically-manufactured chem-clouds desiccate the air and very effectively block the sun.
Chemtrails And Barium http://www.rense.com/general28/chmbrar.htm ''Rented sunshine and leased air'' http://www.yellowtimes.org/article.php?sid=645 Control of water is about to become the latest attack upon humanity. We have all told ourselves that there are "human rights" while we have allowed our governments to sell us into slavery. A time is approaching when only those with sufficient cash in their pockets will be able to obtain this most important requirement of life. Canada, where I live, has one of the most abundant supplies of fresh water in the world, and we are beginning to surrender our control of our destiny to international business. We have all taken for granted this most valued resource and spent it like, well, water. We all know the planet's surface is mostly water (if you really want to know the percentage, look it up) but we also know that only a very tiny portion of that water is potable. According to Fortune magazine, the annual profits of the water industry are about 40 percent of those of the petroleum industry, and at this stage those companies only control about 5 percent of the world's potable water. (Wait 'til they get the rest of it.) And they note the World Bank and the IMF are increasingly forcing Third World countries to abandon their public water systems and contract with the giant corporations in order to be eligible for any sort of debt relief. Essentially, international business is buying up the very lifeblood of the world with the cooperation of the world's governments. If anyone reading this article can't foresee the eventual wars of survival that this is almost certain to foment, then I'm afraid you're going to be in for a nasty surprise. My only hope is that I never live long enough to see the inevitable destruction of humanity that will surely follow. Rather than being absorbed into the ground, it pours into ditches, culverts, catch basins, and storm sewers. These chem trail busting devices are probably much more responsible for drought than these government weather control programs that most probably don't exist. The Four Corners area seems to repel rain and I've read that there is a chem buster in continual operation there. Chem trail believers are lazy-minded and the conservative political front will crush you by openly debunking you and then turn us all into religious socialists with a church-run government. Research extensively or pay the price of failure.
