On May 22 of 2002, both Dan Rockwell and I became aware of a highly persistent trail that formed over the west coast. Dan first noticed the trail at 19:15 UTC. I back tracked and found out that the actual formation of the trail occurred around 16:45 UTC. Dan kept watch over the trail until 02:02 UTC as the last image shows. If these images are correct and there weren't any glitches with either of the sites where these downloaded from then we are looking at a trail with a persistence of over 10 hours.

At 16:45 UTC on May 22, the trail can barely be seen over Arizona and stretches across New Mexico. At 19:15 UTC, the trail becomes more visible. At 00:46 UTC on May 23, the trail is not only over Arizona and New Mexico but also over a few other states as well At 02:02 UTC on May 23, the trail is still there. BTW, on page 2 of the South Seattle getting hammered thread, both Dan and I made comments concerning the persistence of the trail. http://www.chemtrailcentral.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/001194-2.html

That trail is really persistent Krissa! Good work both you and Dan. Looks good on the front page too.

That is a very interesting phenomenon that looks like a trail. But, it is difficult to say that it is anything but a cirrus cloud forming in the jet stream ahead of a front. If you examine the water vapor loop, you will see that it forms just along the dry-moist boundary, which is nearly linear for a great distance across the SW US. Unlike the trails normally discussed here, this cloud formed along the exact same direction as the wind and exhibits behavior typical of cirrus clouds composed of large particles. This linear-looking cloud formed along the same axis as a set of wave clouds that developed a few hours earlier from the southern Rockies near the NM-CO border. If you examine this trail in the channel4-5 temperaure difference imagery, you will see that the temeprature difference is close to zero indicating the large ice crystals typical of natural cirrus clouds. The trails discussed here nearly always show up with very positive temperature differences. Also, they rarely occur along the same direction as the wind. Despite the unlikelihood that this cloud is due to aircraft, it is still really cool. Nice find.

Thanks for posting those images Krissa.canex, it seems quite unusual that this trail is so persistent and it isn't the first time that we have tracked such a trail. Actually I have seen and photographed quite a few that I could also track by satellite. One such trail that ended up over Stamford on 3/21/02 was very similar to the one captured on the above satellite images. This is the trail that I photographed on 3/21/02.
The first satellite image 16:45 UTC shows a trail very similar to ones that we have seen many times before on satellite images. And we have seen trails spread out to almost the same size as this one has done. If it wasn't for Krissa, and if we were not keeping an eye on the west coast that was reporting a heavy amount of chemtrail activity, I would have probably not paid too much attention to it. I noticed it at 19:15 UTC. When Krissa checked the satellite images a few hours later, she noticed the same trail. She then ran an animation and was able to confirm that it was the same trail that I had seen. She then went back to 16:45 UTC and could probably go back even further, but a persistence of approximately 10 hours was long enough and is highly unusual and suspicious to say the least.

A few times, once or twice I´ve seen a huge thick "front" with very sharp pararell horizontal lines in the horizon. It has then moved closer and closer during the day until Then I´ve noticed that it consists of THICK trails. Because this has been in the morning it´s clear that they´ve done this at night... -------------------- http://100777.com

Living on the west coast we had noticed increase spraying during this time span. Yes, there were planes spraying from horizon to horizon. We had several days of clearer skies. Sunday was outdoors and the spraying continued until the sky was filled with white and it kept the heat down and was almost unbearable to be out in the sun. Whoever is spraying has been out in force and of course, on a holiday weekend when people are outdoors more it is predictable!

We've been sprayed so many times here that it is rare to see a clear blue sky anymore.

May 22, A VERY PERSISTENT TRAIL OVER THE WEST COAST? It's now May 28 and that sucker hasn't let up one iota. We're still getting hammered here. The mysterious flu is back, it's only been 6 days since my little girl had the last bout of it, only 9 days since my father was in the hospital with it, I'm coughing and hacking my brains out and the cats are looking crosseyed again. Since the chems came in on a persistent weatherfront (ha!) what do we call the daily spraying that's going on overhead 7 days a week? Supplemental sprays? Check out my uploaded image "Clouds Can Break, and Seattle's Folk Life Festival". The foulest skies you've ever seen are in Seattle!

Those are pretty foul skies alright UT, but by the time that the stuff has blown over you and the chems that get sprayed in the mid-west reach us, the sky is real bad looking and sort of looks like someone smeared used bacon greese on your windshield.

Good morning:The weekend was horrible. Long thick trails. As I posted before, I had a strange bacterial infection a few weeks ago. I now have a very strange rash in both armpits which started like a mild heat rash and has gotten progressively worse in the last 5 days - but guess what? It has not been hot here. Could this be my body expelling toxins from the glands? I am concerned but sort of afraid to go to the doctor. I will wait to see if this goes away this week. Also, I no longer leave my upstairs windows open at night. The sticky dust that settles on everything is hard to clean. ------------------ We can't all live in LA-LA land ...

I'm not sure if your body is trying to expell the toxins or if the stuff is just accumulating in those areas and causing the rash that way. There's been quite a few people here reporting getting rashes but those cases don't seem to be getting as much publicity as the children getting rashes are. I've pretty much got every article posted about children getting the mysterious rash posted on this thread http://www.chemtrailcentral.com/ubb/Forum3/HTML/000092.html and you might be able to find something there. Here in Stamford, we haven't seen any rash cases yet for some reason.

Well, Dan just happened to find another persistent trail on his own and so I'll just post the link to the report here. http://www.chemtrailcentral.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/001248.html#1
