did not link directly...go to link and click contrail forecast on the left..amazing that they have all these school children observing and reporting "contrails??" blessings T http://www-pm.larc.nasa.gov/

thank you soooo much for sharing this link - from the front page of CC it took me to the homepage of NASA:minnis FINALLY I have some hardcore info to share w/ folks who are skeptic. This site has it all - including a LONG list of potential addresses for protest letters. have not seen the kids yet though - you are an ^p^

New notice at the link:The relative humidity data from the RUC 40km model are suspect since 18 April, 2002. Therefore, all contrail forecasts since April 18, 2002 are suspect.To obtain a better estimate of potential contrail formation, examine the 'Individual level (mb)' results. Select a pressure value between 200 and 250 mb for the best estimate. Relative humidity values above 80% are good indicators of contrails in the new RUC data. You can use any pressure level , but the large values may be too warm for contrail formation. blessings T
