While driving on US highway 30 eastbound, I happened to notice one of those short "contrail" type exhaust plumes, to my right, or to the south. The aircraft making it was travelling north at a somewhat slow rate of speed for a jet aircraft. The craft was 30,000 to 40,000 feet up, based on the very small size of the craft. You could not see it with straight eyeball power but for the short exhaust plume.

The oddest thing then happened. The aircraft started turning to the west in a slow sweeping arc, while apparently climbing up into a large cloud bank. I thought that was so weird I took a picture of it after pulling off the road. This was a first for me, I never saw that happen before, with a high jet leaving a contrail.

Then a really odd thing happened. I had continued driving eastbound on US 30, negotiating a mild 'S' curve in the road. When I came out of the last part of the 'S' curve there was before me, in the very place where the contrail had been just 3 minutes earlier, there was now a huge dripping rainbow chemtrail, in the midst of that large cloud bank.

I came to a hastened halt, whipped out the camera and started snapping away. The chemtrail continued to grow and drip out in rapid fashion, while I snapped pics. There came to show up in several pictures some odd aritifacts which I cannot explain away as lens flare.

These occurrences of today have raised some new questions for me. What is a chemtrail? Should I be considering anything going on in the sky as chemtrail related behavior? Are these quickly dissipating apparent contrails more akin to a powerful seasoning as applied to food, such as a heavy dose of salt is to food?

Sure, you can't see the salt coming out of the shaker from across the room when someone else is doing it, just as you can't see the effect on the apparent contrail, except when it did that weird thing in front of me today. But then, as with contrails/chemtrails, seldom do we find ourselves on the tasting end (at close range) of food that has been obviously oversalted by a complete stranger at a restaurant.

The sky is extremely saturated and white every day.
Saw 4 planes leaving contrails simultaneously today!

Some trails are kinda weird - vertical, thick and very short, some are shaped like question marks (how apropriate :rolleyes
Can you tell me how they do that?

Today our area is in between weather systems. Under normal circumstances, this would mean some bright, sunny, fresh air. Unfortunately, our entire area has been covered by massive chemtrail clouds all day long--part of that biochemical warfare against the people of the world.

In the mostly clear blue morning sky, lots of chemtrails of white, silver and blue(!) overhead, at the hour of 9:00am.

Resultant was one hour later solid pea soup chem-sky overcast.

By noon the overcast began to settle down near ground level, with white chem-scum (not fog) showing on the near (and far) horizon.

Have not posted for a while, as spray activities have been in Pacific offshore or have been above the overcast cloud deck.

The day in our area began with fog and rain, but in the afternoon the clouds cleared and beautiful deep blue sky, natural clouds and sunshine could be enjoyed. I guess the weather clearing was not expected by the chemtrail spray people, or the pilots were given a day off to prepare for Christmas. Whatever the reason, the beauty of the afternoon was very welcome.
