I think that we are seeing at least two and maybe three types of spray being used.

One. Low level ground fog type of spray that is laid down right after sunrise and last for several hours. Yellowish/Brown in color and is from ground level to about 500 to 800 feet in elevation. (Judging by the surrounding hills). This application is always followed by a temp drop of 5 to 10 degrees, and is usually accompanied by a light breeze going west to east.
It is thick and fog like in its appearance when first laid down but as it moves out or is dispersed, it leaves behind a dirty appearance to the air, as if dirt or dust were suspended. The ends of this “fog bank” are wispy and feather like.

Two. High elevation application. This is an application that is characterized by short by wispy, mares tail looking streaks or trails. Some of these trails do go for miles but usually are short and random in placement. This type of “cloud” spreads out to form a very thin layer that is sometimes had to see. This usually lasts for the entire day but will not last long into the nighttime hours as the air temp cools.

Three. Mid level application. This is the stuff that is placed in the same relative elevation that our normal storm cover comes in at. Usually the spraying begins in the morning hours and continues most of the day. Long trails are laid out and then connected by other trails intersecting at angles to the main body or trail. These trails spread out to form a thick layer that has one of two appearances, yellow/brown horizon to horizon cloud cover that looks dirty and will cause the light to look yellow or filtered. Or will form clouds that have the typical “storm cloud” look. Thick, gray cover that extends from horizon to horizon and has the look and “feel” of the real thing. It even has the black and dark gray bands that are found in normal storm clouds. This one is so convincing that if I had not watched it being done, would have sworn that it was natural. Wind and a lowering of the temp ALWAYS accompany this one. The length of time that this lasts varies but generally will not last more that one-day and is usually gone by nightfall or shortly thereafter.

There is one other application that is interesting and that is the building of a cloud base by stacking the steaks one on another. From my vantage point I can see that this one is used to cover the Sacramento Valley in a dirty smog like layer of crap.

It is my belief that this operation has more that one goal. Or at least more that one application that must be used together or mixed by spraying first one then the other. One like a precursor and the other the main ingredient.
The stepped up spraying, especially at night, seems to indicate, at least to me, that something new is happening or that the operation is just moving from the trial stages to full blown application. Whatever else they are doing, one thing is certain, they are modifying the weather for some purpose.
. This has been a very dry year so far for Northern Calif. Could this stuff be sucking the moisture out of the air causing a drought like condition in one area and dropping it in an area that needs it more?? With most of the weather patterns coming from the west and going east, could this be a plan or experiment for the control of water or rain in key areas of the U.S. or the World.

Yesterday we had no spray, but today they are back with a vengence. There are trails in every section of the sky, which will soon be covered with their "clouds".

The air continues to be a sick brown /yellow crappy color. David

I know that you have mentioned Travis as possible base and their runways are pretty accessible to look and see if the planes have spraying devices.

The weather people predict rain and no rain. I do believe the weather is being manipulated and maybe not for the betterment of other areas. Maybe whoever want California to have a drought year too. Our economy will go down the tubes.
