Has anyone had the insight to actually fly and aircraft at the altitude of release and take a direct sample for analysis?

Yes, in situ analysis has been propositioned, but none of us seem to have an extra $30,000? on hand for the task. I e-mailed Merle Haggard to see if he could help out financially, but I never heard back. Maybe he forgot to pay his Internet bill?

What is the possibility of getting shot down by a fighter jet for doing something like that?
Low, I would think.

It would also be great to fly up there and get close up photos of aircraft that are doing the spraying.

As far as I know, this hasn't happened.

Has anyone called their local airtraffic controllers and asked them about it?
I have done this, and was relayed through to the "all is normal" guy.

What is their reaction to the questions?
