OK one clue... How many quotes can you fit into a post until you can't fit anymore quotes and what happens when you try to add more quotes to the post?

Since this is perhaps one of the most shot up threads that I've ever seen and everyone knows my situation now including the debunkers, and since I found that classic newsletter that Krissa was the Editor of at that time and had her own column with her picture on it that I wont post, I might as well give you an example of what she used to be like... I just wish I still had that one where she was going to ride down a hill with a sword raised above her head and bury someone under a tree or something like that. That one was a classic and if I remember correctly, the Stamford Historical Society has every edition of it and so maybe I'll see if I can make a copy of that one.

Oh what, oh what should I write about now? I often think that I shouldn't write anything, just enlarge my picture a little so that the people that once worked for a certain Corporation could throw darts at it. I'm sure that it's already been enlarged on a copy machine or pasted on the body of some hideous monster. I could write about the spraying of potentially hazardous chemicals to reduce the mosquito as well as the lobster population in some cases, especially when it is clear that mosquitoes are not the only insects that carry the Eastern Equine Encephalitis Virus. The virus itself is more commonly known as a tick-borne disease that at one time primarily infected horses.

However, I really can't be sure about this mysterious West Nile strain, but might it not also be possible that this virus could also be transmitted by ticks? The ticks were already out and biting people by March of last year, long before the mosquitoes began to swarm. Be assured we are monitoring the situation closely.

There are indeed a lot of things that I could write about, but I've been so good lately and wouldn't want to cause any problems for myself or any members of the Coalition including 2nd Vice-President XXXXXXXXX or our Chief Administrator Kristen XXXXXXXXX. I could brag about how big our little group has grown and the new alliances that we have formed, but it wouldn't be right for me to give too much information to any potential enemies that we might encounter in the future.

We are still at war in a sense even though it might not seem like it. We had provided a lot of information for Greenwich from our intelligence gathering operations behind enemy lines and we needed to recharge our batteries. We also needed a chance to move back into the shadows and keep the enemy guessing what our next move would be. One thing that I learned from Desert Storm is that you always have to keep the enemy guessing and strike quickly when the opportunity presents itself. That's not an easy thing to do when you're constantly in the spotlight or under the microscope...

I'd really like a direct explanation of why on this quote from krissa, since you dan asked her to do what she acclaims :

what was going to happen dan that he needed watching, it's obvious that his HTML skills out weigh your by a factor of 10...what could you have done anyway ?

I would say, when these questions are answered if ever, would show that there was no glitch, and you were provoking some sort of reaction...looks like you got it...cy's banned and terrible scrutiny will fall on you soon...

Dan's thinking about moving to Mississippi with my sister cause of what's going on with him now and I might just decide to visit. And the last time I looked at a map, Mississippi wasn't that far away from where you are so we could meet someday.

good deal,even though due to medical reason's I do not consider drinking as a hobby anymore, I'll never turn down a free drink...or a chance to prove how serious I am about things...

And secondly, I've never encountered Cy before and was rather impressed by some of his posts at Mav's and actually wanted to engage him in some sort of a conversation, but really didn't want to have it with him there. Then I do believe that Yoda admitted who he was and even then, It wasn't my call to make as to whether he stayed or went. And if you noticed, not knowing whether or not there was a problem with the thread, I said that I had saved his post so that I could respond to him. I copied and pasted his entire post to email and sent it to myself and then copied and pasted it to word format so I could make my response to him. I had decided that he was here and he had never said anything bad about me over at Mav's, like none of you do over there, which I do appreciate, but kind of feel left out, I had no reason to take an adversarial??? posture with him. And actually I tryed to make the best of it and showed the same amount of respect for him as I would for anyone else over at Mav's. Since Duncan's been gone, it has been just a little bit boring around here.

As far as cookies are concerned, aol does not have a way for removing cookies effectively and so, since I suscribe to a lot of publications that need an access code to access, I have made a list of the important ones and manually delete those that are not on the list, but I haven't done it in a while and my computeer has been slowing down a lot lately, so I have to probably spend an hour or two sorting through them again. Depending on how many cookies I have, I can either delete them one by one or in groups or I can delete them all to the wastebasket and then rescue the ones on the list.

Ok, you did mention something about sending money and I think Jay, whom I would really like to talk to BTW, mentioned something about it too.

Well we really don't need much money to operate since, in the beginning, the City of Stamford provided all the tools that they thought that we would need. If we do require something done, that does require any funding, such as the recent marking of all the trails with signs, we make suggestions to boy scouts doing Eagle projects and it's up to them to get the necessary funding and materials and we just assist them with the labor. However, we will ask the city to provide us with a load of woodchips once in a while. I also have a lot of friends in the landscaping business and I will occasionally ask them for a bag of grass seed or something. As for newsletters and report forms, one person makes up a template and gives it to anyone with access to a copy machine and they make all the necessary copies using their own money.

The coalition was formed mainly because neither the City of Stamford and the town of Greenwich had the manpower to cover a 220 acre park.

The way I got to be president is that the other president tried to ban the mountain bikers who all belonged to an organization called NEMBA and were also part of the Coalition and caused a lot of problems for us and so he stepped down and showed up at my doorstep with a box of papers and turned control of it over to me and when I quit, I have the option of either shutting everything down or dumping 10 filing cabinets of paperwork in someone elses driveway.

As far as there being no phone number on the page it was a judgement call since the phone number would be mine and the address is mine, since I am the president. The original address was the address of the last President since he was one of the founders. Back then it was only a 2 man command structure. A mountain biker and a hiker confronted the parks commissioner at different times because of all the erosion problems that were developing in the park and so he teamed them up and told them to do something about it because he didn't have the manpower. After the hiker tried to ban mountain bikes, the mountain biker went up to New York State and founded his own Coalition.

We do have emails on the page if you didn't notice and my phone number appears on my business cards and on the printed newsletters. However if it would make you happy, I will post my phone number on the page. Under the previous administration, there was a professionally done web site but NEMBA thought that it was drawing too much attention to the park and so it was taken down, but if you do a google search for the Mianus Coalition, it's still mentioned.
