And I can tell you, WIN98 sucks…Many bugs that were never corrected with that sucker. XP, although it is a disk space hog, has far better memory management and Kerberos 5 security features with the NT based file system.

I never had a problem with it Yoda. Of course I'm operating on a Pentium 166 so I probably wont. I've done things with WIN98 that has destroyed WIN95 multiple times and so far, since I got this computer last year, it hasn't crashed once.

If you're wondering, I actually had Krissa keep an eye on you and keep you company to make sure that you didn't get into any trouble Yoda. Krissa and I have been working as a team with environmental issues since 1997... And if you must really know why we work together as a team, she's 1 out of 3 Vice-Presidents of my 100+ member environmental group in her spare time. Of course I'm a lot closer to one of her sisters though so there's just a little tension between us.

Well anyway... I know that you can't respond, and I'm sorry that I couldn't get back to you sooner Yoda, but I had to run a few errands and pick up some pain killers for a bad toothache that kept me up all night so I would have probably done better just staying on the board.

You touched on a lot of points that required me to do a lot of thought Yoda. First of all since you started with the rods and the bugs. I'm not really sure about them being debunked, but then again, I have so many things to keep track of lately that I sometimes miss the latest information on some things. I have always suspected that there are certain types of bugs that can adopt and mutate over a period of time to various conditions and alter their modes of transmission. And with our determination to mess with DNA and things like that, there's no telling what we're going to come up with.

As for the bugs on mars stuff, I just included it to demonstrate the ability of bugs to survive in certain enviroments that should kill any type of lifeform. Since we cook a lot of foods in microwave ovens now, it just crossed my mind that if such a bug, as described in the article, were to somehow get into the food chain, it could cause problems and wasn't really implying that they were associated in any way with the "trails". The article itself is in the latest issue of "New Scientist" which I find to be a somewhat credible source and one that even Jay has referenced and one that I now suscribe to. And as you have probably figured out, I sometimes wander over to Mav's and read some of the threads hence my knowledge of your encounters with sceptic. I can actually be in 3 places at once and and be in IM's with people at the same time.

I did see a rise in sickness attributed to some unspecified virus that really does a number on certain individuals especially the elderly, causing severe respiratory problems as well as some amount of cardiac distress with one of the chief complaints described at one point as a burning sensation in the lungs. My own mother complained of such a burning sensation in her lungs not long before she died last year and so that's one reason I'm involved with the whole chemtrail thing.

I have heard from quite a few sources of some type of mycoplasma related illness being around but do not have a sufficient amount of information on it as of this time to really know what to think about it.

There has been a long history of certain questionable tests being conducted on both civillians and military personnel that leave me just a bit suspicious about similar events occurring again.

Though the concept of a substance, biological, calmative, or otherwise being sprayed at high altitudes might seem to be impractical and maybe even impossible. Such operations conducted at lower altitudes, especially in a combat scenario would not really be too feasible. I'm sure that even Pacer would agree with that one and a ground level application, via modified warhead might not be practical either. In a combat situation, with a heavily entrenched enemy, there is a chance of sustaining heavy casualties. However if some method of dispersion were created in which something like a tranquilizing gas could be applied that would inhibit their ability to fight, then the casualty rate would be significantly less.

I will stray a bit from the topic to include reasons why such a tranquilizing agent might be applied on a civialian population. Now, we as lifeforms, require a certain amount of electromagnetic energy to operate, and going just a little bit into hypothetical science, we need a certain amount of energy to maintain a "dimensional lock". It's still hypothetical and being kicked around by individuals who really wouldn't like me to go into too much detail about it at this time ... so I wont. But at one time I've heard from various sources about the earth's magnetic field being approximately 4 gauss. Whether it's true, I'm not sure and not sure exactly when that was... but maybe 10 to 20,000 years ago based on some kind or research that I don't have that much knowledge of. As of now, the magnetic field now stands at 0.4 gauss. And how long it's going to stay like that, if it is decreasing, I really don't know or what the consequences of it going to 0 would be. It is theorized that it could cause some pretty major problems with people, but not really sure how bad it would be. I do know that certain animals do require a certain level of magnetism to navigate, and thus could explain the beachings of whales and things like that.

Now getting back on topic, the spraying of a tranquilizing gas could be perceived as a stop-gap measure in the case that such an ever, if it would occur, would give them a little time to remedy the situation. We fully do not understand HAARP or it's capabilities and applications. We do know that it is a high energy beam device that has some effect on the upper atmosphere and rumored to be able to detect underground installations and other things which could mean that the energy could hypothetically be transmitted to specific locations via satellite, but could also be an attempt ot stabilize, if not reinforce the earth's magnetic field to keep it from going to 0. Such an application, if plausible, may require something to be sprayed in the upper atmosphere that would eventually work its way down to ground level and therefor perhaps extend the spread of the beam and it may also be plausible that the antenna's that are being placed at certain intervals, might be an attempt to create artificial lines of magnetic energy.

I am aware that there has been a significant interest in natural magnetic anomalies and have been relatively close to one of the locations where such research was thought to have taken place at one time that seemed to be similar to research that was also supposed to have taken place at Montauk. I know that there has been a great deal of controvrsy as to what occurred at Montauk, but I believe it was a preliminary study on the effects of electromagnetic energy on the human mind and body that might explain some of the misinterpretations of external stimuli that were reported there.

Misinturpretations of external stimuli that were unfortunately capitalized on and used to launch a whole series of books if I remember correctly.

As to the visibility of the trails, it's easier to tell what areas have been sprayed and perhaps might even be perceived as an experiment on wake-vortices that that NASA, as of 2000 was still conducting. I do find it unusual that we have had so much haze over the last year that we never had before as well as the persistent trails that are occuring in all kinds of weather. We do live within the vicinity of 3 or more major airports, but up until last year had no really major air traffic and those jets could be identified as normal air traffic.

However, these jets, that are making the "trails" are clearly "military-type" heaviy aircraft similar to ones operated by certain agencies that just coincidentally are the same color as them as well as a few smaller "fire-tanker" type craft with jet engines that I saw not spraying because the two that I saw got caught in a inbound approach corridor and had to fly low.

They were side by side at the same altitude with one passing right over my head, and the same color and body type. The only difference between the two was that one had 2 wing mounted engines and the other one had 4. They both flew over and slowed down at exactly the same time. Just coincidentally, two similar jets, if not the same ones made an unusual check-mark pattern with both jets terminating their trails approximately 4 miles north of my location that just happened to be in the vicinity of a large radio communications tower at my firehouse. Later on, perhaps a few weeks or months, not really sure exactly when it happened without accessing the CT Reports thread, an A-10 type jet made two rather suspicious passes over the tower from two different directions as if to track down the source of some type of disturbance since we do have more than one antenna on the tower, which might have been detected by satellite. So it is possible that the two jets in question might have just been trying to paint a target by laying some smoke that could perhaps be picked up by satellite. I did bring the incident up concerning the two jets on one of the pages of this thread so it's not necessary for me to really repeat myself.

I also provided some links two threads where both Krissa and I documented trails that persisted over eight hours that no one has provided a reeally good explanation for.

As for the West Nile Virus, I have to agree with you on that one. It does seem suspicious, however, that in a relatively short time span that it has covered almost eevery state. Most of the reports are located on the "Things are getting worse by the minute" thread in the new ecology forum with some additional information in the Health Forum. Then there was the mysterious rash that I covered extensively on the "Our Children are getting sick" thread that is also located in the health section, that no one has come up with a really concrete explanation for which makes me just a little bit suspicious. Since the last reported case in school children, there have been reports of dock workers, etc. in different locatioons coming down with a similar type of rash after coming in contact with some unidentified packages. This may also be a biological attack related event and not a "trail related one".

Since I'm a little bit tired, after developing a toothache, that hasn't calmed down too much, I will just jump down to this statement. I really didn't mean to take so long with my response, but had to get some pain killers and then take care of a few personal matters.

Now if you read into the "Things are getting worse by the minute thread", you'd probably notice that theres been a great many animals coming down with all kinds of illnesses with a good portion of them having to be slaughtered as well as the large numbers of fires west of the Mississippi that might be connected and due to some possible biological event that may have occurred. The trails themselves might not be causing the problems, but may be an attempt to keep the outbreaks from spreading. Lets just say that the government was aware of a potential epidemic that could perhaps wipe out a large number of people and didn't want to alert us citizens, since we've already been through so much lately, and had conducted dry runs, and had spent a great deal of time monitoring the spread of trails to see what they did, decided to innoculate us on a large scale as well as any potential vector to keep such an event from occuring. - Or at least minimize the impact of such an event already noticing too late that the WNV had spread much faster and farther than they had imagined possible with a number of people dead and even more people infected. Could it be possible?

OK, I'm sorry for the delay in a response to your questions silentNomore. I'd have to look around to see what such a "gizmo" would be used for or what it looked like. It's the first I've actually heard about such a disturbance and the source of it could be located underground somewhere or could even be being beamed from a satellite if such technology is already in place.

The majority of what I wrote seemed to just pop into my mind and am not really sure where it came from, but was either sort of a combination of pieces of information that I have been seeing on the board or other places that suddenly started to click together or something else...

It's really difficult for me to explain it really but I sometimes can focus on a topic that someone brings up, especially when I have had a lack of sleep as has been happening for the last few nights. It was definitely something that Yoda said that made me go into that mode and I just wrote down everything that popped into my mind from that point on until I ran out of things to write. If was in the same room with me and had asked certain specific key questions, I would have probably came up with more detailed information as friends of mine have done with me in the past.

Now that I've finally got my tooth to quiet down a little, I can once again write just a little bit more as to why they would want to use something like barium stearite to dry things up a bit.

Now if they are doing something along the line of creating artificial lines of magnetism with antennas, they might want to soak up the moisture just a bit so that they can make sure that everything is lined up properly.

I do kind of remember some story about something happening to a radio station somewhere in which there was a significant magnetic disturbance that fried a couple of birds as well as some circuitry... but I can't remember where I read it. I think it may have been mentioned on Art Bell once or twice... but I'm not really sure... It happened a while ago though so it might be a little difficult for me to track it down but I'll give it a try.

It's just a thought that popped into my mind.

As for the comment about me switching to AOL mode, I in my line of work have a business computer as well as a personal one, that I let my sisters use since one of them is kind of involved with Dan and Dan has AOL. And as one of 3 vice presidents, I need to keep in touch with Dan on a constant basis, especially with the little problem that I am trying to find a way for him to solve without dragging the entire coalition into another drawn out legal battle. We already fought for two years to save a 110 acre parcel of land and had exhausted a great deal of resources in the process. And since my business computer has a great deal of antivirus stuff built into it, as well as a stable cable modum, I like to use it here. And since my computer has a lot of sensitive stuff on it, I don't want my sisters messing with it.

Yes, Dan asked me to keep an eye on Yoda and I really wasn't happy doing it because I had made other plans, and was supposed to be going on a date, but since Dan is the President and since I was told by the rest of the executive board to keep an eye on Dan, I really couldn't say no. We have a very strict disciplinary code that we must follow since we do a great deal of work teaching people how to care for the land and sometimes these people are kids that have problems and need to learn just a little discipline and some degree of self worth as well as a certain degree of teamwork.

And I have kind of noticed that Dan seems to be the only really active person with any kind of authority here and I knew that he was already worn out from not being to get much sleep in the last few days.

Where was I?

If you've read what was posted on the Coalition Web Page, you'd see that Dan is really going through a lot of personal problems at the moment but has had a tendency to give them a lower priority and not ask for any help with them and concentrate on other people's problems no matter what the consequences are. Believe me that I am crying right now as I write this.

As for Dan's teeth since T/S brought it up. Back in 1993, a dentist kind of screwed them up by drilling a little too close to the nerve, and Dan almost died from a severe intestinal infection that was misdiagnosed and one that he has still not fully recovered from. And for some reason he had developed some degenerative tooth problem that no amount of flouride or brushing could stop and so he ended up losing almost all of his teeth except for 3. And due to his current situation, he can't afford any more bills than he's already got and don't even know right now if he's gonna have a place to live tomorrow and when he's not on the board, he's packing up his stuff just in case he has to move in a hurry.

And since his mother died last year he hasn't been himself really. He was a gifted writer, an exceptional archaeological researcher who had gained a lot of credibility in his field even thought he had dropped out of highschool and had no formal education. - Yes he's a highschool dropout. And a rather talented musician as well as an environmentalist. But after his mother died, he turned his back on it all and it took a long time for me as well as my sister to get him to turn around again.

First of all T/S, I don't even remember my access code, because my status is automatic log-in and I would have to go searching through my emails to find it. Since you guys want to point fingers at each other and call each other names and not have anything resembling intelligent conversation I'm just gonna hijack this thread for a bit.

It's a good thing that you guys ain't members of my environmental group or you'd all be doing some kind of task that you'd probably not be too happy about!

The tasks themselves wouldn't really be too difficult, but I have a tendency to team up people that have some kind of dispute or dislike for one another. I've even teamed Republicans up with Democrats and rich kids with lower middle class kids, --- and even more challenging,--- hikers with mountain bikers. This was really a challenge because the hikers, dog walkers, and fishermen had tried to ban the mountain bikers from a 220 acre park not too long before and so they really didn't want to even be in the same place at the same time.

I gave them a project that one person couldn't do alone but one that both wanted to do (but not with each other of course), the right tools (that hopefully they wouldn't use to beat each other over the head with), and sometimes even a time limit, (but on weekends, I used to have nothing really special planned so I could be there till sunset if I had to.) I'd take them to the location, show them what to do real quick and walk away and leave them to fend for themselves.

In the late Fall, the days are kind of short and if we were a mile out in the woods, they'd kind of figure out after a short time that they didn't have any flashlights and I wasn't gonna go looking for them,(even though I was usually watching them from the top of a nearby cliff or something like that). They were never really alone and close enough for me to scare the hell out of them with a simulated animal growl if I thought that they were taking a bit too long shouting at each other. - Sometimes it would take one day for them to learn to work as a team, and sometimes it would take a little bit longer, but they would be a team.

Now you've probably noticed that Krissa and I kind of work together posting things on each other's threads and things like that. Well..... we used to be bitter enemies in a sense though I really didn't hate her but she really hated me... And if you think that the flame wars are bad here... well ... you'd be surprised how bad we used to fight.

I was the boss and she was the editor of my environmental group's newsletter and was working with my littlee group of only 100+ members ... back in 1997 and she didn't agree with some of my decisions and I didn't agree with everything she wrote and she flamed me mmore than once.

One day one of my trail crews finally got tired of the stuff that was going on and the bad example that I was setting for those volunteers who would come out once in a while and decided that it was time to team me up with her for a project... One thing led to another and it wasn't too long before we both found ourselves trying to preserve a 110 acre parcel of land from destruction and she found somebody else to flame for a change. There was a major paper company (that no longer exists) and had stated that they had every intention of developing the land and a rather persistent developer who insisted that he was gonna develop the property. The paper company was based in Stamford so it was an easy target for Krissa to give negative publicity to.

They were a major corporation and everyone except for me and Krissa were afraid of them and when they threatened to take her to court for posting information about certain events that occurred at a mansion that was located on a small portion of the property that the corporation didn't want anyone to know about. --- At first, she took some flack from me about it and
she did a couple of solo projects and I had her write an apology in the next edition of the newsletter.

Then I tried to figure out a way to get them just a little bit nervous. -- One of the trail bosses made a little joke about Krissa being my Vice-President and thought that we would never be able to work together on that level, especially since I was just a little bit too close to her younger sister for comfort - though we were just friends at the time.

To make a long story/rant short, I made Krissa my Vice-President and we ended up working as a team and somehow managed to save the property after a long drawn out battle.

Also, I did notice that Krissa had posted some links including a link to our newsletter. And on the newsletter, there was an article that was written by a girl named Allison. Let me tell you a little bit about her. Allison was a problem child with very low grades and was always getting into fights and her family didn't know what to do with her. I suggested to them that they should work with the Coalition and that we would be able to help her. At first they were reluctant but they then agreed and I as well as some of our more elite trail maintainers worked with her and now thanks to us, she's a straight-A student.

And so I present this little story that was written by her that earned her the position as a staff reporter. I hope you like it.

The time was 5:00 AM on a Monday last April and I had less than an hour left before I had to rendezvous with my team. There were six of us in our little group and we had the morning shift this time around. After a year of this, you’d think I’d be used to it by now, but I’m really not.

I hurried to the shower almost tripping over my pet cat Fuzzy and wondered how I got myself involved with this whole environmental thing that we do. Dad was still sleeping and so was everyone else in the house for that matter.

I tried not to disturb my sister Cheryl who’s room is across from mine as I grabbed my pack and walked down the narrow hallway, going over my checklist of everything that I needed for the shift as I crept down the stairs to the kitchen to grab some breakfast.

After breakfast, I headed to the Garage and got my tools. Today we would be putting in water bars and defining one of the eroded trails in the park and so I only really needed my bow saw and short-shovel.

President Rockwell said that I should be prepared for everything and so I should bring as many tools as possible, but since there were going to be six of us out there, I only strapped what I needed to my pack.

At 5:45, my supervisor, Debra, pulled into my driveway and within a matter of minutes we were on our way. I was still a little groggy, but by the time we pulled into the Greenwich parking lot, I was wide-awake.

Krystal, Mindy, Tracy and Lori were already waiting for us with their packs securely strapped to their backs. I hurriedly pulled my pack out of the trunk of Debra’s car as she walked over to the others and inspected their gear. Lori’s one of the new ones and so she sometimes doesn’t secure her tools properly. Either that, or she forgets to bring something.

All our packs have to be set up the same way as the wolves have theirs with the shovels on the right and the saws on the left and sometimes Lori forgets. Fortunately, everything is where it should be. I tightened up the straps of my pack and followed the others down the rocky trail.

We use the Greenwich entrance since it is the closest one to where we were going to be working, but occasionally we’ll come in from the Stamford side. I prefer the Greenwich side since there never seems to be too much traffic and we can almost slip into the park virtually undetected especially by the Wolves.

The Wolves are the elite of the Coalition and work when they want to and usually only on the weekends when the volunteers aren’t in the park. Sometimes one of them will prank us or scare us by leaping out from behind one of the many boulders that are out here.

Unlike us, who like to work in groups, the wolves like to work as individuals unless of course one of them comes across a bad blow-down or a bog. Then it’s only a matter of minutes before the rest of them come scrambling to the rescue and they soon become a formidable pack.

We’re all Owls and so we work mostly during the week unless there’s a major emergency, but so far nothing bad has happened. There are a few trees across the trails but we’ll usually leave them there to act as speed bumps for the bikers.

However, if we find a widow maker, a tree that is about to fall, we will tell the Wolves about it and let them take care of it. We’re just a bunch of girls and we wouldn’t want to make them look bad.

Sometimes we’ll throw a guideline on it to keep it falling on the bed until they can remove it.

Our hearts almost leapt out of our chests when we suddenly noticed Vice-President XXXXXXXXXX’s sister Jenna meditating on top of one of the boulders not far from our work site.

Jenna’s a Wolf and also a Ranger, which isn’t really so bad since, if we had a problem, she would of been able to shoot it for us. It’s sometimes hard for me to believe that her and Krissa are sisters since they’re both so different.

Krissa is a troublemaker and a hot head and Jenna’s the exact opposite. Debra sharply saluted her superior when she noticed that Jenna’s eyes were now wide open.

It’s not surprising since our tools clank on the frames of our packs no matter how tightly we try to bind them, alert most people of our approach.

Only Owl supervisors salute Wolves as a sign of respect, however all of us salute our President and Vice-Presidents (even though one of the Vice-Presidents is my father). It’s the least that we can do since our ranking members have done many great deeds and have therefor earned our respect.

Debra then asked Jenna how our President was doing with his project. Jenny yawned and told her that she dropped him off a pack of cigarettes at midnight and he was still editing the video for his presentation out in his drafty barn.

I dropped my pack and unfastened my tools as Mindy started digging a trench. Lori was already off in the woods looking for materials with Krystal and Tracy was tightening the blade of her saw.

Debra marked the line for the next waterbar as I grabbed my saw and looked for stakes. Luckily there was a lot of material that year and in less than fifteen minutes, we were sinking the first bar.

Jenna grabbed the hatchet and sharpened the stakes as I cut them. At this rate, we thought that we would have the project completed in less than an hour. That was before Debra decided, that after we had sunk four waterbars and staked them, that we needed to define the section and so she began to mark the upside of the trail.

I got the hint and grabbed my sack and shovel and look for bedding material, preferably natural chips. At least it’s early spring and so I didn’t have to worry too much about finding any bugs as I dug my shovel into a rotten log to get the chips out of it.

I hate finding bugs, especially those long squirmy ones with the sharp pincers.

I got back to the others just in time to see Mindy and Tracy struggling to get a sack of dirt to the site so it could be put on the bed. Lori staked the last rail just in time for the dirt to be dumped and spread.

Jenna then raked it smooth and defined the grade as I prepared to duff the bed. Jenna’s a good Raker and it didn’t take her very long to grade the bed. Since Debra is the supervisor, she got to scout ahead to the next project.

By 7:15, the section was duffed and ready and we were on our way to the next site. Jenna broke off and made her way up to the Observatory Cave for a nap as we climbed the ridge by Dan’s Bridge.

We had to prepare rails and bars for a Wolf project that they probably won’t get done for another week or two. After cutting and dragging ten logs, I almost wished that I had gone up to the Cave with Jenna.

I got to go up there the year before during the summer when it was too hot to work when I worked on weekends. I even had the rare opportunity to spend some time at the sunning place, a nearly level part of a modified stone ridge where the Wolves go to relax and bake themselves.

Technically, Owls aren’t supposed to go there, but since I was invited by Jenna, it wasn’t a problem. Of course we have a ridge of our own, but we hardly ever go there because we’re usually too busy.

Besides, we never know when creepy Malcolm will return to reclaim his meditation spot. Malcolm was supposedly a vandal that our President had encountered there a few years ago when he was a maintainer and so we try to respect the sacredness of the place.

It wasn’t until two years ago, now almost three years after I had joined, that our President had found an artifact that resembled an owl while climbing the ridge that the place became ours. Up until then, we had to stay on the trails.

By 8:00, we were back on the trail and looking for easy blow-downs to clear. By that time, my new boots were killing my feet and I began to wish that I was back home in bed. Unfortunately, I would only have enough time to go back home and get ready for work.

Luckily there was a slight chill in the air and so none of us really broke a sweat. Too bad because as soon as we thought that we’ve done enough work for the day, we walked right into a major blow-down. The tree was huge, but we dropped our packs and unfastened our saws and started cutting.

Luckily for us, only the head of the tree was in the trail and the majority of the branches could be cut with our 24-inch blades even though mine was a little dull.

With four of us cutting and the other two dragging, it didn’t take too long for us to clear the trail. After redefining the trail, we completed the loop and hit the main trail.

By 9:00, we were safely back in the parking lot and I dropped my pack and loosened the laces of my boots and got ready to go home. Fortunately I only had to go out three days a week, that month, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays every other week but I suppose that it would have been better if I had been chosen for group two who only patrolled Tuesdays and Thursdays or become a wolf and
give up a few hours of my weekend.

I just luv when people make errors in judgement, and then blame the consequences of them on other people...

out all the folks posting on this board, yoda and myself were the only one's that suffered the deleted post glitch ?

I don't think so...I think I would go back to believing in chemtrails before I'd believe that one...

I didn't even know when Dan was gonna get back on line but I figured that since Yoda hadn't made a sound, he was gone. - I told Dan that I was gonna be on till at least 11:00, but I was tired so he prolly thought I was still on but I wasn't. - And he knows that I like to switch over to aol on my other computer so that I can go talk to my friends in Native American Chat and check my email on my aol account that both my sisters share.

And Dan has his own private chat room on aol and sometimes either me or my sister keep him company because sometimes there ain't nothin' going on on the board. - And he can be in the chat room or in Native American Chat and still keep an eye on the board.

I did email Dan before I went to bed to let him know that something happened to your post T/S and that I was having problems with my post that I couldn't edit for some reason.
I couldn't get one of the quotes to close right and it was bothering me...

And since I've been here, I've always had to enter my access code. I don't know why, but that's the way it is and as far as I know, I've never had any problems with you cause you have always been nice to me.

I know that I've lost posts before and so have other members of the board and we've even lost whole threads. And every time I hit the back button to look for something or to go to a site for something, if I don't copy what I wrote, it disappears and I gotta start all over again. That's one reason that I don't do the solar data on the CT reports thread anymore.

And no matter what ya think, I'm gonna still buy you a drink if we run into each other somewhere. Dan's thinking about moving to Mississippi with my sister cause of what's going on with him now and I might just decide to visit. And the last time I looked at a map, Mississippi wasn't that far away from where you are so we could meet someday.
