These are pics I took from an Olympus E-20 within minutes of these strands floating in. I was relaxing in the sun and saw this happening. Links are below.

Could someone shed light on this as I am undecided if indeed these are "spiderlings" webs or something else? And what plausable reason could this present?

Also, The strands had a funny,feel to them. Unlike Spider webs, these had no texture, stickyness.
