As bad as it can be to engage in the unscrupulous, it can be as detestable to know about the unethical and underhanded and not acknowledge it.
Two aspects of the - frankly - mythology constructed by "debunkers" around chemtrails are the "explanation" about the on and off switch behavior, and, overall, the "explanation" about the formation of chemtrails themselves.
Chemtrails, they insist, are nothing more than extremely long-lived contrails, facilitated by the process, essentially, of ice crystals, formed from jet exhaust, replenishing ice from water vapor as fast as they dissipate ice from exposure to the sun. Under certain conditions, they go on, these ice crystals can actually gain mass faster than they lose it, or, presumably, stimulate ice crystals to form elsewhere, faster than they dissolve. This is the supposed mechanism whereby "normally" they accrete to form cirrus cloud decks and haze. Under this supposition, however, at some point, when all the vapor has been converted into either ice crystals or water droplets, and there is no more vapor left to coalesce, chemtrail formation should stop. Jets may still fly through the haze, and, maybe, even leave miniscule trails, but the stable lines composed of crystals newly formed from water vapor, should not exist.
The on and off switch behavior, generally characterized by chemtrails that stop abruptly and just hang there, or brief interruptions in the middle of a massive trail, are likewise denounced as such by "debunkers", under the assertion that it just represents the jet having run into a patch of especially dry air.
On Christmas Eve, 2002, over West Caldwell, New Jersey, the sky was very hazy from at least 9:30 a.m. on. It may have hazed over, from determined chemtrailing, hours before, but it was thick gray by 9:30. However, even though the sky was, apparently, completely hazed over, though all the available moisture seems to have already been locked up in ice or water droplets, chemtrails continued to be formed. For at least the next couple of hours, chemtrails continued to be laid across the sky. If the water in the air was already converted to particles, there is no explanation, according to "debunkers'" models, for new trails being laid so consistently. If, however, jets were not converting unconverted vapor but, instead, adding substances of their own to the air, the formation of chemtrails can be explained. Some of the trails are obvious in the following picture:

A nimbus around the sun, formed by reflections from ice or water droplets, is visible. This suggests how must moisture has already condensed, and, therefore, how little ther would be left for further condensation. A chemtrail, however, is visible, in the middle of the picture, stretching from the middle left to the upper right. More visible, though, and equally as significant, is the perforated line of chemtrail clouds moving from upper left to lower right in the picture. These are not the result of a jet just happening to pass through a patch of dry air. It is a jet leaving an apparently deliberate trail of equally sized clouds, at equal distances from each other. This is utterly at odds with the "debunkers'" explanation for the on and off switch. This is an apparent demonstration of its use.
The "debunkers", apparently, are not above any level of lies. Those who wish to stop the chemtrails should not allow themselves to be either unnerved or dissuaded by them.
