I am new to the board.

This is the best site I have found on the issue I personally call "spraying". I live in Phoenix, AZ.
A coworker mentioned to me in 1999 that the lines in the sky might not be "normal" contrails. I didn't think anything of it at the time. But I did start to pay attention to the skies over Phoenix more. I just observed everyday looking at the patterns making a mental note over time. Then on 1.27.02, that morning the sky had a huge pattern directly over the city. The trails had very distinct beginnings and ending to them. 3 trails in particular created a very symetrical pattern that eventually caused a grey canopy. I can go on any expert hearsay, but my own common sense and personal observation over time that these trails are not normal condensate from jet engines. The planes are always white no markings. The sky always becomes a soup of grey haze. I remember when there where weeks of nothing but blue sky in Phoenix. Not no more. The pollution levels has skyrocketed.
I wish someone could prove this is just normal. Jets have been around along time but I don't remember anyone complaining about them spraying.

I believe that this planned spraying is evolving, searching for other methods of blanketing a area with "chem spraying".

In late Nov or early Dec. On a beautiful blue Sunday morning I took my wife and children 4x4 in the hills west of Phoenix. My daugther noticed a plum of white vapor on the horizon. I immediately recognized the area the plum to becoming from was where Palo Verde nuclear power plant to be. At first I was worried because I had never saw the plant pluming like that before. I wrote it off a maintainence of some sort letting of steam. I worked in nuke power plants on carriers so brushed it from my mind. The plum remained through out the day. I thought it was very odd they would be blowing steam that long. By evening time a thick foggy haze covered the west side of Phoenix. By morning the haze was so thick I couldn't see any of the hills that surround the west side most are less than 2 or 3 miles from where I live. I couldn't tell if Palo Verde was still plumming but my intuition said it was but I had to check so I drove the 25 miles to where the plant is at and the plum was stilling bellowing out with its top being blown due east toward phoenix. The haze was so thick I had to drive within a couple of miles of the plant to see it. The local news weather men had dubbed the monday as the Valley of the Fog day. This made me laugh so hard. I have seen alot of fog in my life but none like that. It was a haze not fog. Tuesday came and the haze had thickened visibility on west side of phoenix was less than a mile east of phoenix maybe 5 miles, power plant still pluming. I checked the nuke plant at around 1am to see if it was maybe just something they did during the day, it was still plumming. Weds came and still plumming weather man says its temp inversion. Yaa Ya B.S. Thick thick haze on west side very haze on east side of phoenix 20 miles south and north of phoenix hazy could have went farther but didn't want to waste the gas. Thursday comes and much less haze. Power plant not plumming, by friday back to normal phoenix smog the brown kind. Haze was bluish.

I saw a similar event happen by another power plant non nuke but can't say really it created a very localize like 10 square mile of foggy haze. Fog if very very uncommon in phoenix. The low humidity and sun just doesn't allow for it here.

I don't expect anyone to support or confirm this post.

I am paranoid about the observation I am making as it relates to my enviroment. Perhaps I am the one bull in the herd that intuits that bang in the building up yonder where the cows go in don't come out ain't where I want to be.

I would like to think that the "spraying" is to protect us.
I have noticed the changes in the sun brightness and intensity.

Maybe shielding us...
