Great shots O, wondering what state you are in. At 8/30 AM Mon. morn. in Northwest Connecticut, our boys have been hard at it to slop up our skies that the high winds yesterday had cleaned out. Grrrrrrrrrrr

Interesting colors in your non-bowed bow. On heavy days in L.A., we get non-bowed yellow-orange. Any clues what the colors mean? Anyone?Trail Nix

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It couldn't...no....wait...I think it could be!! A NATURAL occurance?! Is it possible?!!?Not really. Anyone ever see glowing blobs of color in the sky when they were growing up. Not on my planet. Even if your "contrails" and not my "chemtrails" are causing it, there is nothing natural about it. We have one again here today, along with a multitude of trails.

The photos were taken Aug. 17, 2001 over Fresno, California using a 2.1 megapixel digital camera.

Well documented maybe, but did YOU ever see one..even ONE growing up? Not me but we see them all the time here now. What's changed? Phenomena maybe, not regular sometimes daily occurrence.

>>did YOU ever see one..even ONE growing up<<I didn't see one FLKook and my eyes were always glued to the sky. Didn't see any halos round the sun or moon either --I camped out back many a night. Saw lots of shooting stars on clear nights... now that was a treat(: Beautiful pictures Otavaleph! (Does your name have any particular meaning?)

>>Well documented maybe, but did YOU ever see one..even ONE growing up?<<As I said before, YES (many times actually). And I didn't have my eyes "glued" to the sky cause this is kind of thing is not that rare.

Well that's FLKook's posts shot down in flame.Such a blanket statement "Not really" when refering to these phenonena completly destroyed by documentation and facts, and a bit of common sense. These phenomena are NATURAL. Makes you wonder about a lot of other theories coming out of this website...

Well there you have it, two debunkers, one a noaa employee, the other a no-it-all, say it is common to see. It's been happening for years and they've seen it all their lives, how can you refute such positive proof Lulu, FLK? BTW Feel'n K & CS, just what magical planet did you grow up on where this was a common event? Here on earth, it is not or rather was not a common event when I was growing up.Out of the mouths of debunkers comes ...drivel.

As far as I know, neither of us are NOAA employees and it's spelt "know-it-all".Drivel? This is a documented phenomenon! A bit like the Earth being round and all..

Greenhouse effect is also natual, from all those natural occurances of commercial and military jets. Jets are part of nature.I don't really see the point of this and how it relates to the topic... Anyway, are you trying to imply someone engineered HIV? Please. Of course HIV is natural. No one understands every intricate detail of HIV, let alone how to "make" it. Of course bug-resistant crops are natural. It's called evolution. If you're talking about GM crops then obviously it's not a natural occurance. Its not hard... The CIA funded a coup in Venezuela? Okidokie. What does that have to do with this topic? The green house effect is caused by the release primarily of carbon dioxide. Volcanoes release a lot more carbon dioxide than all the military aircraft, commercial aircraft, cars and factories combined.

OK yeah, you guys have disputed me. I'm sure all the folks out there reading this have seen it many times from their childhood too. Natural rainbows were rare enough but no these blobs were around all the time right?Yep. That did it. I give. The debunkers have all the answers, don't know what took me so long to see the light. Must have been all those ice crystals in the air.

"This website" doesn't have any theories. We are a collection of many people, ideas and voices. Feel free to discredit my posts. But don't bother to try and discourage newbies from the entire website as though we are a singularly edited machine. This is a discussion forum. Many point of views are espoused. Just look at this one thread. You don't see your debunker butt being squelched.
