I was curious if anyone has notice a decrease in trail activity since the Iraq war has started. Unfortunately I work at a different place now and do not have the sweeping views of the skies that I used to.
I did notice an intense amount of trail activity around March 9th in the South Snohomish county area of Washington but was not sure if this was a major deployment from Whidbey naval air station or not. Theoretically if these contrails are just from commercial or military aircraft, it seems like there should be less activity now.

I only wish that the trails had slowed down or stopped over my house but it is not to be.
The traitors in the sky continue to work over Snohomish CO.It's great to hear from another local yocal.How long have you been awake?

Last summer, I had a job where I was outside pretty much the whole day. The place where I worked was pretty open and had some incredible views. One day, out of the blue (so to speak)I looked up and saw that the whole sky was covered with trails in every direction imaginable. When I started seeing again, I took a camera with me to document what I saw. I got some good pictures, but not ones of all the really bad days. Haven't seen much lately except for earlier this month..mainly because its been raining for quite a while!

No slow down here.... I've seen more trails in the last two days than I have in several months. If anything there's a definite increase for some reason. This time of the year the skies should be a pretty blue but it's basically a mess out there.

I agree with Catnip57, the spraying around here has been so very heavy. Go to bed weezing and wake up coughing. My doggies eyes are red and their noses are running. One of my dogs just had pups and the poor things noses are running - it is so sad.

I am just west of the town Tonasket, south of Loomis.
This area is called "The Sunny Okanogan" but lately there has been less blue sunny skies then there should be.

If anything, the activity here in the northeast has actually increased since last summer.

We have experienced an increase in spraying since the Iraq slaughter started.Today I saw the largest, single, chemtrail to date, for this member.Where are all these pilots coming from?,USSR,China,Israel,or just Pilots for Hire.Independent contractors from,mmm...Caryle Group,Wackenhaut,etc.

When there arent any contrails/chemtrails (as you call it)- it's called LOW HUMIDITY. I fly at high altitude quite often and see aircraft putting out trails.... nope.. no fart control chemicals. And they sure as hell arent spraying anything... if they were really spraying, they would do it at low altitude because winds aloft are so strong the stuff would be carried hundreds of miles, if not around the world before settling down.

Just remember, ADDS incorperates RUC model data which has a terrible dry bias. It also uses the ETA models which, in my experience has a dry bias at upper levels.The best way to check conditions is by looking at upper air plots from Rawinsonde observations. F.K.

I myself have noted a direct correlation between approaching weather fronts and the amoung of CHEMTRAILING done ahead of them. I live in SW Indiana. If we have a large front typically inbound from the West NW, we see heavy spraying anywhere up to a day BEFORE the storm arrives depending upon wind speed. Again you can SEE the effect the polymer filaments have on the thunderheads. They literally DISSOLVE! Last night we saw some thunderheads dissolved here in IN but they were selectively targeted rather than the whole sky layered up. You can see the bottom of the thunderheads looking like white hair falling down as they are modified.

hitech- interesting you mention that- which helps prove my point even further.Before fronts pass through, you will always have more moisture and cirrus clouds up at altitude. Upper level cirrus is a tale tale sign of an approaching front. Contrails are very prone to occur in these conditions- and will last much longer. A little food for thought- maybe the government isn't after you?? Maybe these things really are innocent aircraft travelling along our federal airway system?

Nope, quite heavy even with clear skies in the Keys and South FLorida.
Here: Look for the haze, not the 'natural' popcorn clouds.

finaly people to talk to, yes,yes,yes,they have it's not just your area or your imagination. here in phoenix we've had the longest brake I can remember scence they started spraying.BUT unfortunatley they have started up again and are hosing us good, complete cloud cover all day yesterday and into the night.thankfully mother nature didn't co-operate and blew it out by mid day today.no telling what they do as we sleep! have you all sceen the petition for chemtrail disclosure it's a great piece of evidence for the purpose of applying pressure to our "eleced officals"------------------

again a pilot that so sure there's no spraying going on are these guy's in a gray-matter challenged club or what,they always say somthing stupid like this guy come to phoenix and watch planes go buy so low and slow you can almost see the pilots kinda blows you hight and speed theories
