Hey Shadow! I didnt think they did much in L.A. guess its popular everywhere now. Today wasnt as bad as friday(so many trails I couldnt count.) Here is why I think that,even though it started up in the morn. the activity died off, because,Palm Springs can get pretty windy and they "seem" to stop when this happens. Wonder why?Shadow,Feel free to private message me on anything really nasty,sinse ya are practically my neighbor and I do have family in the S.F.valley.

There were new trails laid down until 5:00pm.
The beginning of the trails in the AM showed the a/c making a turn from the West to the North. Then another trail would be laid from the West to the East, and so on.
Folks on radio were making comments about them, too.

THANK YOU FOR BEING A WITNESS!TODAY'S CHEM ATTACK WAS THE LARGEST I'VE SEEN IN A LONG TIME! IN PASADENA AREA THE TRAILS WERE VERY BROWNISH AND EXTREMELY THICK! THE SKY WAS CRISS CROSSED BY TWO DISTINCT JETS LEAVING THE CHEM TRAILS! EASILY SEEN! WONDER WHAT B.S. THE SKEPTICS WILL FIND TO EXPLAIN HANGING BROWN CLOUDS FROM JETS? WHAT WEIRD WEATHER PHENOMENON CAUSES JETS TO SPEW BROWN TRAILS? GUESS THEY DON'T TEACH THAT IN WEATHER SCHOOL!

Interesting. I was hanging outside during a work-break with some of my co-workers and looked up at the sky. They asked me if I knew of the term "chemtrails". I told them I never heard of it. They said that planes were using chemicals to control the weather. I told them I needed to know more about this. We have a huge air force base in Fairborn, Ohio, and I always thought they were vapor from the jets. But these trails looked different. But why over Xenia, Ohio? Why over the U.S.? What is happening here????????!!!! Saw them today 4/1/03 noon.

Welcome Cathy. 'What is happening here?' is a good question, one that you will have to research and decide for yourself. Many have observed the evidence and feel that there is a large undenyable operation, others after observing the same evidence feel that it is much ado about contrails.

Cathy. Here is a satellite water vapor image showing the entire US today. As you can see, over Xenia, OH (in the SW Ohio area)you can see a higher concentration of water vapor. This would tell me to expect a larger number of long lasting, billowy, contrails than on other days.

What? If you would look at the water vapor imagery, you can see that over SW Ohio there is a 'lobe' of water vapor. That would explain Cathys sightings of, apperantly, long lasting, good sized, contrails.You think this is wrong....how?

Well, since it keeps updating, your looking at the wrong one now. That 'lobe' has moved east out of the area. Go to "12 hour loop" and you can watch it move through the area.

Cathy, I agree w/THERMIT that you keep an open mind, and that you research this site and others further.
Look at the photos on this site under Image Database for more examples from around country.
Most of us are asking the same question when we see these trails that are so different from normal contrails that disappear normally.

Most of us are asking the same question when we see these trails that are so different from normal contrails that disappear normally.They are both normal! They are both normal contrails, but with different properties dependant on the atmospheric conditions! /Sorry SFTF

And what basis do you have for believing that persistent contrails arent normal? They were documemted by bomber pilots in WWII for Gods sake.Am I supposed to believe that these WWII pilots are liers? That the massive contrails they produced that spread for miles and lasted for many hours was really a secret government operation?

Just because they were seen in WWII doesn't make them "normal". And what is "normal"? Are the substances in trails good to breathe, no matter WHAT you name them? And the fact that a bomber creates them doesn't exactly reassure me of their benevolence.TN

Yes it does mean they are normal. They exist, not because of any government project, but because of normal laws of the universe. IF conditions are right the contrails will last longer and will not dissipate. Compare it to throwing a rock. It could hit the ground and bounce, or it might not bounce. It depends on the conditions (grass or concrete). If it bounces, I dont automatically assume that its "normal" for them not to bounce and that since it DID bounce, the government must be pouring rubber into the rocks when we arent looking. Both are normal.

No, you certainly wouldn't want ot breat it any more than you'd want to put your mouth around a cars muffler. In that sense the existance of chemtrails is undeniable- all aircraft spew chemicals that affect health and weather. However these chemicals are just the results of Jet A combusting at very high temperatures.

OK, I am not going to waste time with this one. I write about breathing whatever is in the trails and it is assumed (?) that I am asking about government conspiracies, breathing at high altitudes, and the like. It is not possible to discuss a single point without deflection. And there are too many points. And life is too short. New people asking good questions will never get an education here.

This is not a site about exaust pollution. We might as well talk about your cars emission testing results. This site is about aircraft purposefully spraying chemicals for reasons other than keeping the aircraft safely in the air. Im not going to try and debunk the fact that airplanes produce pollution. No duh, all engines produce exaust. Why the hell are you bringing this up? We are discussing whether chemical trails exist. Not exaust.
You failed in your effort to make chemtrails real.But you must still claim that aircraft are hurting the environment in some way so you dont totally fail in your quest. So you claim that airliners are producing exaust. Congrats Einstein. Time to rename this site exaustcentral.com
