Yes, there was an intense spraying over Western N.Y. on the day of the blackout. The spraying began at around 7:00 A.M. and gradually subsided around 1:00-1:30 P.M., shortly before the blackout began. It was the largest spraying operation observed in this area in many months. The jets continued west past Rochester and most likely on over the Niagara Falls area, and very possibly on into Ohio.
