Thought you might find this interesting...just like AIDS has been incorporated into life & health insurance rates over the years, they've now changed the storm model for property insurance. I read the article to suggest that just like AIDS impacted rates, and AIDS was unknown 25 years ago, they are now admitting that the "old thunderstorm model" is not working and has been updated. Maybe I'm reading more into this but I find this very fascinating as an insurance agent and as an observer of our changing climate.
