Earth Has Become 20% Darker

12-18-3 Human activity is making the planet darker as well as warmer, scientists say.
They believe levels of sunlight reaching Earth's surface have declined by up
to 20% in recent years because air pollution is reflecting it back into space
and helping to make bigger, longer-lasting clouds.
The "global dimming" effect could have implications for everything from the
effectiveness of solar power to the growth of plants and trees. "Over the past
couple of years it's become clear that the solar irradiance at the Earth's
surface has decreased," said Jim Hansen, a climate scientist with Nasa's Goddard
Institute for Space Science in New York.
Experts say global dimming is probably down to tiny particles such as soot,
and chemical compounds such as sulphates accumulating in the atmosphere. "Data
from 100 stations around the world show that the amount of black carbon in the
atmosphere is twice as big as we assumed," said Dr Hansen.

Yes... I agree.The world is getting darker. "Tiny particles" is one reason. Even Nasa admits it. But I dont know about the warming. I tend to believe we are heading for another ice age..

Can you please explain your view in short. what can bring about an ice age ? is the spraying used to delay to coming ice age or is it used to bring it about, and if so, then how?

The World (or at least my immediate world) is getting darker and has been for years especially the last few for one simple reason. Planes are creating clouds above my house, county, state, etc.etc. that is TOTALLY in most cases here, blocking out the sun. Not just the dreaded sun reducing film, but huge well formed cloud banks that stay for days. It's really that simple. I can't imagine the solar industry isn't consulting it's lawyers right about now......SmT

____________________________________________ One of the chief ways I have read about to add light scatterers to the atmosphere, was to just set the jet engines to burn richer and produce a type of carbon black. The kind that shows it suity nature right about the time time the sun goes down. Right after it has quit reflecting that warm orange glow every CT'er has come to know so well. I feel certain were being 'geo-engineered'. SmT

It's simply something that's cyclical. I tend to believe we are at a warmer period on planet earth at the moment and after this warm period is over...another ice age is going to occur. The "spraying"..if you want to call it that..is being done for a variety of reasons i'm sure. Colin Powell slipped out once that a "billion dollar remediation project" is underway. Also check the Kucinich bill that bans chemtrails. That should be proof alone of the existence of "Chemtrails". I also found it interesting in the recent movie "The Animatrix" it showed numerous aircraft contrailing the sky..blocking out the sun and turning the planet dark. Perhaps a bit strange to see it in a fantasy movie after reading it is ACTUALLY happening according to the above article. How much longer the warm period will continue is open to debate...but I think no matter what man does another ice age is going to happen. Take it with as many grains of salt as you wish. My 2 cents

Thanks Mech for your answer. This is something to consider.
I am aware of the Kucinich bill before and after it was revised. Myself I need no proof that chemtrails exist. Once one sees just a dozen images of the thousands that are out there or hears just a few of the testimonies he has to be dumb, blind, in serious denial or in cahoots to deny that something huge is going on, huge on a planetary scale.
