A contrails (jet clouds) cause global warming story/study found on CNN.com with thanks from father."While the temperature range is significant, whether the jet clouds have a net effect on global warming remains unknown."
Don't think I've seen the term jet clouds used before; or the term contrail clouds either. A subtle conditioning to accept man-made as normal?
"With air traffic growing and contrails becoming more prevalent, the natural variation will further decline and could disrupt regional ecosystems, some scientists speculate."
If this is true, father what do you propose we do about it?
Haven't we had reports of trails out in the middle of nowhere?
"Scientists estimate that contrails cover some 0.1 percent of the Earth's overall surface, with regional concentrations as high as 20 percent."
I would think the numbers would be even higher.
