With the ever increasing health conciousness in today's society, even that classic drink Milk is getting a second look. Is milk really healthy? Does it really "do a body good" as is claimed in the massive marketing campaigns? Many are realizing it isn't quite so for them.

"Cow's milk in the past has always been oversold as the perfect food, but we are now seeing that it isn't the perfect food at all and the government really shouldn't be behind any efforts to promote it as such."
Benjamin Spock, M.D.

"These dairymen are organized; they're adamant, they're militant...And they, they're massing an enormous amount of money that they're going to put into political activities, very frankly."
Secretary of the Treasury John Connally to President Richard Nixon, from The Watergate Tapes, March 23, 1971

"Cow's milk is not suited for human consumption. Milk causes constipation, biliousness, coated tongue, headache, and these are the symptoms of intestinal auto-intoxication. Soybean milk, and nut milks are excellent substitutes, and have practically the same analyses, and the danger of disease is removed."
Jethro Kloss, Back to Eden, 1939

Corporate-owned factories where cows are warehoused in huge sheds and treated like milk machines have replaced most small family farms. With genetic manipulation and intensive production technologies, it is common for modern dairy cows to produce 100 pounds of milk a day— 10 times more than they would produce in nature. To keep milk production as high as possible, farmers artificially inseminate cows every year. Growth hormones and unnatural milking schedules cause dairy cows' udders to become painful and so heavy that they sometimes drag on the ground, resulting in frequent infections and overuse of antibiotics.

Dairy products are a health hazard. They contain no fiber or complex carbohydrates and are laden with saturated fat and cholesterol. They are contaminated with cow's blood and pus and are frequently contaminated with pesticides, hormones, and antibiotics. Dairy products are linked to allergies, constipation, obesity, heart disease, cancer, and other diseases.

Wow, I knew there was a reason that I stopped drinking milk when I was 5. I do have cereal once in a while but never drink it. I also use it sometimes when I cook. The kids don't like it much either since they all went off the bottles. I only buy organic dairy products now. Cheese, milk, butter & sourcream. It costs a whole lot more, but I think it is worth it. You can see the difference. I also only buy organic eggs. Don't get me going on that one.

Thanks Thermit for the information.
God Bless,
Melanie

I saw this earlier today...Have known for a long time milk was bad.Read 'Fit For Life' by Harvey and Marylin Diamond to get the real skinny on it.Especially pasturized milk!
In a study done that fed pasturized milk to dogs they got mange and other disorders, when the same dogs were given raw milk, they thrived!!An English doctor fed puppies and kittens pasturized milk and they DIED!When fed raw milk they too thrived.Pasturization was the biggest scam fed to the American public...It affords the distributors extended shelf life while destroying the folks drinking it.Figures.Get the book! It is a great read.

You guys must be psychic One of the big stories here in the uk yesterday, was that milk from farms close to the pyres burning poor animals slaughtered due to foot and mouth, is probably polluted with dioxins. They say the risk is slight...yea right. PLUS, they say that people are potentially at risk from CJD from buried cattle (buried due to slaughter following Foot and mouth) as bse may have affected the water table at these sites. I'm telling you, there is something massive going on over here, something evil

Amber....Sounds like you guys go from one bad dream to the next...I was going to say its time to be responsible for yourselves, grow your own food and try not to depend on TPTB for anything, but you can't even garden or now drink water safely!!! Sounds like the F&M disease has gotten WAY out of control or else its going according to how they planned it...scary thought.I feel for guys I really do.America wouldn't know what to do without its McDonalds and Wendys fast food burgers.I think we better all wake up and see this as a sign and what it is telling you.Go VEGAN!

RTW - I think it's going to plan. Foot and Mouth was never a real threat to humans or animals, not on the scale they keep saying. Some 'officials' took so long to get to some farms that the few animals that did have it, had got better!!!! So why the massive sacrificial killing of animals? What was essentially an ecconomic decision has ended up polluting the air, land, water and food AND added a new element to the bse nightmare. Would you believe there is an election going on here - the F&M is getting worse NOT better - but you wouldn't know it from reading our press! Oh no...everything is rosy in the garden...NOT!!!
Help ourselves? I think the idea is to make it so this small island cannot produce anything for itself - our farmers are now committing suicide in increasing numbers,: many are leaving farming altogether; I think the govt will say the land is too polluted to grow food for a longtime and we will be at the mercy of God knows who for our food supply....David Icke was right...look out you may be next!! I read today on sightings that 'W' is preparing legislation to stop bse and F&M spreading in the Usa - One of the features of our F&M was a curtailment of movement in certain areas (good excuse to keep people out of certain areas where God knows what is going on!) People could be fined or imprisoned for going in these areas. Police confiscated farmers guns to 'prevent suicide' attempts!! The army was even brought in! Perhaps your emergency powers could be invoked? Be careful!!!

All of this seems so surreal..I think we are all getting to watch our species die off slowly as humans, evolving into light beings of the next dimension.I think our time here is nearing its close.

While I don't believe the growth hormones in cow's milk does a body good, neither do I think that soy milk is a safe alternative given that it makes males more effeminate and passive which is exactly what the NWO wants.

quote:

OVER THE PAST DECADE I HAVE COME TO KNOW MORE AND MORE PEOPLE WHO HAVE AN “ALLERGIC” REACTION TO BASIC FOODS LIKE WHEAT AND MILK. ARE MORE PEOPLE DEVELOPING THESE REACTIONS, OR DO WE JUST HAVE MORE AWARENESS OF THESE THINGS NOW?

Well, both. As bodies take on higher frequencies, different foods begin to not be in resonance as they once were in the ancestry. So there is a certain shifting of diet as ones shift in frequency, so that can show up as allergies to certain things that in the past were part of the ancestry and the bloodlines. The other part of it is that many people ate what was most available to them without awareness of consequences. Therefore, your ancestors may have eaten a great amount of cheese, cream, wheat, meats, etc., and also developed certain weaknesses in the body and died younger than they may have.

These foods are being looked at now as people come to greater awareness of what their bodies are asking for and what the bodies do not ask for. The DNA is shifting as well as the foods shift. There is then that which is opening into consciousness that perhaps all bodies do not need wheat, or milk, or something else. And yet they grow strong, healthy, alive, and perhaps even more alive than they once felt.

3T3L1, I don't know, I didn't see that one.

Just ran across the article and had milk on the mind. Not literally of course, stopped drinking milk last year, but recently one of our nephews had been having a rash for several weeks, we suggested to Mom to try taking him off milk for a while, after a few days the rash went away. He could be allergic to milk. Perhaps further tests will confirm...

3, Are you talking about the guy on O'Reilly last night, the 26th, when O'Reilly said his grandma is 98 and mainlines Twinkies?

The vegan said he doesn't eat anything with a face, a liver or a mother. Then we got the commercial for the knives and the marketeer claims, "This tomato never felt a thing," as he slices through it. Great timing.

man I would not know what to do without a big yank off the milk container every now and again...

I focused more on what the lady said about moderation being the key to diet....and B-12, vitamins and supplements causing serious problems......

and btw milk from the health food store is really good...

mmmmmm.....milk...
