Can anyone tell me a reliable way to estimate the height of large aircraft like 767's or military tankers??

Topgun, this would seem to be right up your alley. If you were standing on the ground and wanted to get a reasonable estimate of aircraft height, without having to know Trig, how would you do this??

I usually rely on my radar when airborne when I need to know an aircraft's altitude. When I'm on the ground, I'm usually guessing. Sorry I couldn't help you more.
