I've just watched the news over here, and saw a short piece on the floods in Houston!!! My heart goes out to those suffering there. Someone on Orbit has asked what is continuing to drive this storm, so this must be a really unusual one..eh?

I'm questioning this storm just like you, Amber. Poor Thermit and the others in Houston probably don't have any phone lines, and all the highways are closed and under water. Some places got over 25 inches in the last 5 days! People are stranded everywhere and helicopters are rescuing hundreds from their rooftops and treetops. Now it's over Louisiana and moving along the inland areas in the Gulf Coast. Sure seems like a HAARP experiment gone wrong...or maybe right, for all we can guess...??MollyGainYa, with love and prayers for Texas and Louisiana! ------------------ UnHappyTrailsToUs

I saw I-10 turned into a river with many semi's mostly submerged. Incredible. People were riding boats and jet skis down the freeway. Hundreds of cars lost, hundreds of homes flooded. Many lives lost. The rain has stopped now, here, for now. The latest estimates are $250,000,000 dollars in damages. Probably more.

Hmmm, Thermit is in Houston huh...? I hope this isn't their way, of giving him some answers, reguardless of the "collateral damage". Just in case you havent read this yet.. from good ole Rensedotcom, here's a little bit on the flood: >>>>>>Rense.com -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Un-Natural Storm And Deluge In Houston? From A Houston Resident 6-9-1Any speculations what's behind the so-called Tropical Storm Allison? A "normal" tropical storm builds up for several days in the gulf. This one was non-existant until 2:00 pm Tuesday June 5, and by 6:00 pm the same day it was coming ashore with 60mph winds. A "normal" storm center keeps drifting inland as it steadily loses force and dissipates. This one has meandered around this quadrant of Texas all week, kept its strength, and is back by Houston again. Many residents are getting floodwater in their homes for the third time this week, as the downpours that resumed Friday evening June 8 have dumped up to 19 inches in seven hours. It's now 2:00 am Saturday and still pouring. What could be driving this thing? MainPage http://www.rense.com <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
