NASA called the above "weird one"
then san i tized from the eyes of
the world
to conceive of what the above implies
would no doubt scatter
our fragile useless-eater minds
bleach it down
scour the truth
nuthin to see that day
the officials don't say
deny the dimensional beam

just label it a "weird one"
and file
all the while we sleepy people carry

the multitude of ice beams
cutting solid Xs then sharp-edge
stop
on offall seems OK

Big Bend National Park is disappearing
in a veil of obsfucation
days of eyes soaring 100 miles or more
are long gone
now luck would be shining if you could see
for 9 give or take looks like take an oasis in the middle of nowhere

this veil enshrouds my mind
like a subtle dulling of senses
a protective device to keep me from being swallowed in the abyss of knowing
 the precipice I teeter on
is a fine line
I gaze into the gaping void of the primordial womb unsure of how to take
the plunge  unsure if I will be left whole
or fragmented
when the veil is finally lifted the fight for Truth gives way  to the fight for Survival
the line narrows and balance is off-set
by the persistent breeze that calls longingly from the bottomless chasm
