Most of us remember the scenario that took place when that fictional "piece", "War of the Worlds" was broadcast years ago...or at least, many have heard about it...Fiction though it was, people took it "as Gospel", believed what they were hearing and jumped out of windows and such in their desparation and fear...fear of the ultimate War! Yet, here we are, all standing at the "brink" now of a "real and present" danger, on the edge and ready to "fall into the abyss"...If War should take place on a "Global" scale, will it be our very own "War of the Worlds" type of scenario...where we are all drawn into a brutal and deadly war that will bring about our demise? It will not be a war of the worlds in a true sense, but certainly, a war of Nations...will we all be sucked past the "Event Horizon", into an endless "black hole" of sensless destruction? The terror that has befallen our magnificent country is despicable...Yet, everything is about "choices" from the first time we learn to crawl, til the last time we draw breath...if we could all "globally" try to help and "heal" the walking wounded of this world, to seek out the source, the cause for the "global" wounds that do not heal, perhaps there would be no need for war. An animal knows instinctively what to do to care for their young or how to tend to themselves when wounded until healing takes place...If we are to survive as a Nation, a World, a "species", we must learn to heal in order to survive! A cancerous tumor is removed to bring about healing...we must seek out, identify, and destroy the cancerous plague that has befallen on society, and excise it swiftly...for if we do not aspire to bring about "change", to find the causes of our pain, and heal ourselves and help heal each other, as a species, we may all be doomed. Our own "War of the Worlds" goes on everyday in our own lives, thoughts, fears, etc. and the same is true in the "global family" as well. We have to try and "cure" the problems that bring us to the brink of war so many times, without trying to dissect what evil is and what are its causes as well as trying to bring about the healing of all our wounds...individually, and as a global, (even universal) community...we will be like those people of long ago, jumping, and not rationalizing. They too, listened to what they were "hearing', much like we are doing now when we listen to the World News and take every word to heart or as "Gospel"! Propaganda, corruption, and war would not take place if we would learn to listen to our hearts, our spirit with-in, and our intuitions and faith. Blessings to the "World" and let us hope and pray it does not end badly, as did the scenario that occurred because of that fictitious "War of the Worlds" broadcast!! Joanne ^j^

Every day, I have my own "War of the Worlds", mini-battle within...I have learned from this, on an individual basis, that it is not easy to "bring about healing" of old, deep wounds...so, if I apply my inner-war to the global picture...I can, of course, see how healing of that magnitude will not come easy...we all have our own battles as well...but we have to keep trying on every level. I hope and pray and wish that the "Global" community will succeed!! I hope we get the chance to try...Love to all, Joanne ^j^

Did you happen to see that story that's floating around about the rejoicing Palestinians actually being footage from 1991?I'd like to get some confirmation before I start putting CNN's keister to the grill, but this wouldn't be the first time the mainstream media has engaged in manipulative misrepresentations....
