George W. Bush is:
1. God-fearing good guy trying to do the right thing.
2. God-fearing good guy doing the wrong thing.
3. God-fearing good guy being used by bad guys.
4. Bad guy pretending to be good guy.
5. Anti-Christ.Just a little food for thought. I want to think the best, support my president and the government, and believe we are doing right thing, but sometimes the doubts just creep in. Just to play devil's advocate, if you were president and had a bushel basket full of problems (partisan politics, laws protecting personal freedom getting in the way of your agenda, stock market slump, so-so approval rating, etc.) and you wanted to get everyone on your team, jump start the economy, take away a bunch of personal freedoms in the blink of an eye, justify blowing away groups/countries in the way of your plans...what would you do?
Or...what if you were a group/government that wanted to destabilize the world for your own sinister reasons (New World Order, alien takeover, globalization, police state, martial law, etc.) and the USA had a good, God-fearing president who wouldn't play ball...what lengths would you go to to cause him to unwittingly react in a manner that would accomplish your purpose?
And...if you were the Anti-Christ...and you were looking for an opportunity to come onto the world scene pretending to have answers to all the world's problems...well, you get the picture.
I guess all we can do at this point is watch and wait, and pray for the wisdom to see things as they really are and the strength to act accordingly. I know God is untimately in control, but He did give us free will. Unfortunately, we haven't made very good use of that gift. The question is, how far will He allow us to go before He intervenes? Not too much further, I think. What do you think?
