Our friend and fellow chem activist, David, has had some unforseen complications to his recovery after heart by-pass surgery. I know he still has many friends here who surely wish him well and miss his writing and efforts. Hasn't always been an easy "haul" for any of us when involved with such a serious and volatile issue as the "chems", but we all appreciate and care about each others efforts in spite of it all...I know this....we are good people here...a few debunkers are a "royal pain" but mostly, we all are concerned and dedicated folks. That is a "given" and understood! Bless you all and please send any good wishes, love, prayers, healing "vibes" and whatever else ya'll got to David so he overcomes his "Congestive Heart Failure" problem...in early stage, He will get better...He must!! Love, Joanne ^j^ ^j^

Sweet Jo! Thank you for posting David's condition! His bad reaction reminds me of my dad's bypass surgery at Brooke Army Med Center in 1992, and the resulting decline in his excellent intial recovery that was due entirely to BAD MEDS. A "civilian" doctor outside the BAMC team of doctors had prescribed steroids for arthritis pain prior to the surgery, and as is the case with the "brotherhood" of doctors, the steroids were continued after the surgery, and as soon as the blood pressure meds were administered, about 3 weeks after his release from the hospital, he immediately developed congestive heart failure and slowly deteriorated before our eyes. When the doctors read his chart after readmission, they wanted to know "WHO!" prescribed the steroids!!!??? Yeah, right. As if they didn't know that all along... Well, it was too late by then. Daddy was sent home to die, and he did about a week later. I'll always believe that those doctors medicated him to death, but doctors can "bury" their mistakes, huh?Anyway, have David or his family check ALL the meds he's taking, and get an outside opinion from a pharmacist, if that's where his problem lies. And tell them to get on rxlist.com and research themselves, because most pharmacists will not "bite the hands that feed them". Tell them quickly, Jo, because when I figured out the error in the combining of the meds my dad was taking, it was too late. Thank you!!!! And give David my very best wishes for a speedy recovery!! (I'm assuming you have a closer link to him than through this forum.) MollyGainYa, with love

David---I hope you get back on your feet. There's nothing like a major operation to diminish a person, no matter how big you got. Still, you can always come back even bigger. Dave Morton

Hi David,Delphi said it right when she said "our friend and fellow chem activist." Your efforts have certainly met a great deal to me, and I have thought of you as a friend. You have my heart-felt wishes for a return to good health. Ellyn

David, Many good wishes, thoughts, and prayers are being sent your way! You better be here with us all for at least 100 more Christmas's!! You aren't supposed to be an "Angel" on top of anybodies tree yet, your supposed to be joyously smiling and healthy, opening presents under the tree!! Sending guardian Angels your way again....and wishing you a speedy recovery and a Christmas full of magic and wonder and love and happiness!! May God, The Creator "smile" down on you with "healing love" and I hope you can "feel" the Angel kisses that will be just for you and "feel" the gentle breeze of fluttering Angel wings as they protect you and guide you and help surround you with the Healing light! Love, prayers, and Blessings from all, Joanne/Delphi ^j^ ^j^ ^j^

Since I first met David on this forum, it is only appropriate that I add my thoughts and feelings on this heart-wrenching turn of events to this thread, as well.If it wasn't for David, my own site would have never gotten off the launch-pad. His writing and reporting gave Megasprayer an earnestness and urgency that is sorely missed. And his contributions to this forum, equally so. David has an uncanny ability to fill the void wherever people congregate to work on this issue. If it is laughter that is needed, he supplies it in spades. If it is stiff dose of reality and indisputable documentation, he is fully capable of providing that also. I don't know what else to say other than that David is one of the staunchest activists involved in this issue and damn good people, to boot. Get your ass slapped back together, my friend. Some of us are replaceable, and some aren't. You definately fall into the latter category. Chem

Hello friends. I want to thank each and everyone of you for your well wishes and kind thoughts. I can't begin to tell you how much it means to me. After a rough time of it and many trips to the hospital, I am on the road to wellness. A lack of critical medication compounded the problems I was already having. Thank God for good, caring doctors and the love of a wonderful family. This is the best Christmas present a man could ever ask for! Peace, love and happy holidays to you all. David
