Seeker, we are sorry to hear of the loss of your father. Our thoughts are with you at this time.
quote:
For what is it to die but to stand naked in the wind and to melt into the sun?And what is to cease breathing, but to free the breath from its restless tides, that it may rise and expand and seek God unen- cumbered? Only when you drink from the river of silence shall you indeed sing. And when you have reached the moun- tain top, then you shall begin to climb. And when the earth shall claim your limbs, then shall you truly dance. -excerpt from The Prophet, by Kahlil Gibran

Seeker, please remember it's Friday now...but Sunday's coming. Hold onto the truth--He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away. They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever.

Seeker, I am very sorry to hear of your prescious loss! My love and hugs and prayers go out to you and your family! Blessings, Joanne ^j^ ^j^ ^j^ Angels for you and a poem: Dad, you are Heavens sweetest Angel and Heavens greatest treasure.++++You were a gift to us all, and are missed beyond all measure!++++You touched all our lives in a very special way,+++We think of you each morning and pray for you each day!++++We miss your kindness and your always ready smile.++++You are never really far from us, "Just gone for awhile".++++Prescious memories of you keep you always in our heart,++++You dance now with the Angels, and have a brand new start!++++For we think of you in "Heaven" and smiling at us still,++++We know we shall meet again, because that is Gods' ever-lasting will!++++You have a secret,(you are not gone), you're an Angel now and waiting for us all,++++And we will all meet again when God gives us his "call"!++++You are in Heaven, we are assured of this, because you were so kind!++++You were gentle of "Spirit" yet not faint of "heart" or "mind"!++++You were such a happy person, so joyous and so free,++++You knew the "secret" for living life, for that you had the "key"!++++We are glad you lived your life in such a "spirited" way,++++So this poem is not really a "good-bye", it's, "We'll see ya another day"!++++A poem I wrote for the loss of my best pals 14 yr.old child, but I feel like it "fits" here and this moment as well. Love, Joanne

Seeker: I am sorry for your loss.Where your father has gone to next is a place of beauty and love.Just remember he goes on to a new life, his spirit of infinity never skipping a beat.Your father has only disgarded his spacesuit of a body and moved into another."Do not stand at my grave and weep, "I am not there.I do not sleep. "I am a thousand winds that blow; "I am the diamond glints on snow. "I am sunlight on ripened grain, "I am the gentle autumn's rain. "When you awaken in the mornings hush, "I am the swift uplifting rush "Of quiet birds in circled flight, "I am the soft star that shines at night. "Do not stand at my grave and cry, "I am not there.I did not die." unknown

a death of a father for a son is a crying shame a time for reflection a time to redeam a time to take away our day to day doldrum in the current existance and come to the light that there are other days belief in a hear after with much light of which we could hardly concieve a hope and a prayer upon such a wing shall we fly nothing we can ever see so how can such as we give our lives unto it from one who give you a hard time and vice versa i have been there recently and welcome you back in your altered state after all the cerimony has gone away and you stand alone to contemplate

I really should not reply to this post and cloud all the positive energy with my thoughts, all of the posts here are heart felt and a chunk of your lives were givin up to make them, I really appreciate them all...I could have used some of the words spoke here at the service today, or yesterday I mean, my cousin's are ministers and my cousin's wife delivered the service today and she made today a celebration of my Dad's life and the footprint that he left, some of today's service was a reflection of how we as people should understand each other and bury yesterday's ill will for the common good...the service was wonderful, uplifting and gracious....circumstances and time do not allow me to go into complete detail...but I feel now things are as they should be, pain suffered is now alieved....and the long nightmare of a horrible illness is over for everyone in my family, tomorrow is a new day and my family and I can now consume the reality of today and the future, unencumbered by negative emotions of why and how come.... thanks for your thoughts.... T/S
