Bill Maher of the canceled show "Politically incorrect" has his career cut short for free speech. A week after Sept.11th on his show in his usual forum the "cowardice of terrorists" were discussed. When Bill Maher made the remark, "It's also cowardice for superior militaries to deploy missles from thousands of miles away and not have any consequenses...",corporate sponsors pulled their ads from the show and ABC. Bill Maher had his show cancelled. White House spokesman Ari Fliecher made the remark.."People have to watch what they say, and watch what they do."That is not patriotism. That is censorship. Free speech is WHY America is the best. Chris Albrect, CEO of HBO has decided to give Bill Maher a new show. "This edgy new show will give Bill Maher and his guests a regular, uncensored forum for the first time ever on TV."The new show starts Feb. 21, 2003. Maher, 46, has insisted that his show would still be on the air if it wasn't for his comments after Sept. 11th. GO Bill!!!
