The viruses could be a CIA plant. Nothing would surprise me with them, an organization founded by Nazis and Nazi sympathizers. On the other hand, could be anti-virus companies that put out viruses too. Keeps the business going.
That's why I use all Macs and Linux. 90% less viruses, no TCPA/Palladium, and no Bill Gates sniffing around my hard drive.
Now,
I'm going to do something I rarely do, defend Seeker. Mech, I respect you wholeheartedly, agree with you on everything except animal rights, and actually look forward to your posts in the morning. However, who do you think is behind the propaganda on ganja/reefer/pot/grass? There are conflicting reports. The US government runs tests and says pot cuts blood flow to the brain. Germany, Canada, and Stanford says it increases blood flow to the right brain lobe, hence creative people almost always enjoy Da Blunt. You see this all the time, completely contradictory stories. Only in the 5 to 10 joint a day people have I ever seen any damaging or stupifying effects. Pot and Acid were the main drugs of the 60's. It scared the BeJeezus out of TPTB. Back then, we used to call alcohol, downers, speed, and heroin....straight drugs...the drugs of the establishment. Now were seeing an increase in PCP, Cocaine, heroin, and drinking. Perfect linear drugs to keep everyone really stupid. The Partnership for a Drug free America loves to take "Pot" shots at grass. Can't have that right brain lobe functioning too well, can we?

I'm sorry, I am 100% anti-drug.I've watch too many of my friends waste away and a few of them die because of GOVERNMENT PLANTED drugs and alcohol. I can't support a culture that DESTROYS the opposition against the NWO.I've seen to many good, law abiding people go to prison for YEARS just for having a "roach" in their house. I've heard too many stories of the drug war fascists taking away ALL of peoples possesions for having a small amount of narcotics. They are the ones bringing the drugs in in the first place. I respect your opinion on the "virtues" of some of these but, It's creating a whole generation of so-called "criminals" to feed the prison industrial complex and make people who own the privatized prisons (the Bush's) very rich. Straight and alert. X

Yeah Mech, I respect you for being you too. What I was getting at was, if you don't like Seeker, please don't blame it on pot. The tokers that are on this forum could get "turned off" to you equating Seeker to pot. Maybe you could tune down the "Seeker's stoned" stance, although it seems like he likes a fight. Leary, Alan Watts, Robert Anton Wilson, and others thought that the non-linear drugs actually increased intelligence with moderate use. Also, I don't even you would want to see the "Drug Gestapo" kick in Seeker's door, although that would certainly change his mind about TPTB.
What about the original post? The virus. I got this inexpensive little firewall called Impasse for OSX. WOrks good! How can anyone use Windoze, knowing all the privacy issues being thrown out by Microsoft's collusion with Homeland Security? I work in the Multimedia dept of the largest chip manufacturer in the world. We have 6 Macs, all running OSX, and each running rings around the one 3 ghz Pentium in terms of rendering. Linux on RISC, another option. In fact, Linux on AMD or Intel, too. I understand that the Air Force uses imbedded PowerPC G5's because of temperature issues.

I got a Mac running OS 9.2 with Netscpe 6 for a browser.I'm not going to defend seeker. He's off in La La land twilight zone phony patriot land. He thinks WE are the enemy instead of the NWO. That says it all.

4 out of 5 dentists surveyed say that folks who don't smoke pot are susceptable to computer virus hoaxes...damn, picked the wrong year to quit smoking pot  ------------------

The effects of the new improved Ganja are permanent. Right brain lobe neuro-circuitry is switched on for good, designed to offset the delirious effects on left-lobe linear intoxicants. Ja!!! Man!!!!
