Ive got one. Some lyrics from one of the great underated anti-illuminati bands of all time...Hawkwind Coded Languages Investigate the meaning of your sentence What is it telling you ? Where does it begin And where does it end ? Question the nature of your orders Question the nature of your orders Question the nature of your orders What do they want from you ? A rendezvous upon the sound The cars rev up the word goes round The words are weapons of their will Their words can hurt Their words can kill A burning phrase can burn a town A syllable can bring you down Their languages are coded Your image is eroded Listen to the sound you heard Learn to fight against their word Vocabularies of death Destruction in their breath They use the lie They use the myth Seek only to confuse And liberty abuse The lies they tell are pretty And blow up another city They steal away your freedom And your love Their sentimental calling signs Are calculatingly designed To rob you of your mind and time And still you listen to The lulling drone of reassuring voices designed to take away your choices Make you slaves to fancy words and phrases Until you're pushing up the daisies They steal away your freedom and your love

Thats a new one to me, you know some of these bands are so difficult to find. I miss being able to use kazaa to search for them. I wonder how you come up with all of these artists Mech? I still enjoy the martial law intro thingy you posted.

You could say I grew up in a very musical oriented household...at least 2 people in my family play...my grandfather played guitar, organ and jazz drums..and I dabbled in synth some years ago. Wish I never gave it up, but I persued other interests.Mostly outdoor/nature oriented.Music and lyrics are thought changing parameters for the mind..i'm convinced. They can break old habits and disolve thought patterns and belief systems...at least they have the potential for certain minds.

You didnt answer the questions man, but honestly there arent to many things i wont listen to, Radio music sucks, flat out....everything sounds the same on the radio cept Tool and Floyd...the only 2 worth listening to on the radio if you ask me, but anyway we lost a great friend today Johnny Cash, for which i had the utmost respect...Put in some Classical suits me, Rap [i dont even consider this music] dont even think about it, and ill do country as long as its a good honky tonk song not none of that tear in my beer shit. But i lean more towards the Black Metal, Grind Metal, whatever you wanna call it sound, since ive been playing Guitar for about 10 years thats about the only good challenge is some good fast riffs, not none of that lets see how fast i can play these 3 scales over and over and over....ahahahahahahaEver heard of Acidbath?

Rap music makes my skin crawl, to the point of insanity. It has become so mainstream, literally dominating mtv, which used to be a music channel once. It's a sound to be desired by simple minds. Anyway, radio is mind numbing, pop music is generic and I've never heard of Acidbath. Have heard of Brick Bath though....

Remember, 90& of everything is crap, and that includes every music genre. It's the 10% in each category that I find interesting.

I figured you'd also mention Public Enemy. They seem to fit into the category. Still not my thing though. What can I say? The problem with rap music is lack of longevity. The songs seem to lose their flare after a few times hearing them. It's like, it's so repetitive, that you don't want to hear it a second time. It's just so predictable I guess. With rock, many times I won't even like a particular song at first. Then it grows on me, and I can listen to it over and over again. Rap is so much more disposable, in my opinion. It's why I refuse to buy any of it. I mean a rap album seems like it could be recorded in a week. It just seems very nonchalant and effortless. Especially when they simply borrow, or should I say steal someone else's beat or riff. I need much more creativity, and variety of subject matter to be satisfied. Bitches, ho's, guns and kill the white man just doesn't hack it.

I can honestly say i dont like any rap, although i like a wide variety i guess i was raised on too much Classic rock.this below has to be one of the best songs out on the radio in a long time.... The White Stripes Lyrics " Seven Nation Army " I'm gonna fight 'em off A seven nation army couldn't hold me back They're gonna rip it off Taking their time right behind my back And I'm talkin' to myself at night Because I can't forget Back and forth through my mind Behind a cigarette
And the message comin' from my eyes says leave it alone... Don't wanna hear about it Every single one's got a story to tell Everyone knows about it From the Queen of England to the Hounds of Hell And if I catch you comin' back my way I'm gonna serve it to you! And that ain't what you want to hear But that's what I'll do And the feeling coming from my bones says find a home...! I'm going to Wichita Far from this opera forevermore I'm gonna work the straw Make the sweat drip out of every pore And I'm bleeding, and I'm bleeding, and I'm bleeding Right before the Lord All the words are gonna bleed from me And I will think no more And the stains comin' from my blood tell me "Go back home"...

Evangelists Pray for 'Evil' Marilyn Manson Fri Oct 17, 9:08 AM ET Add Oddly Enough - Reuters to My Yahoo! MONTERREY, Mexico (Reuters) - Dozens of Bible-wielding Mexican evangelical Christians prayed for the soul of Marilyn Manson in a protest against a planned concert by the shock rocker.
About 100 people sang hymns and prayed outside local government buildings in the center of the northern city of Monterrey, where Manson, infamous for ripping up Bibles and invoking Satan on stage, is to play on Nov. 5. "We are praying for him so that he can know God and become transformed," said demonstration organizer Arsenia Campos, whose daughter was killed last year by a young man who later said he was involved in a Satanic cult.
The group presented 3,000 signatures to the City Council this week asking it to halt the gig but Monterrey Mayor Felipe de Jesus Cantu said on Wednesday the Manson show would go ahead.
"We ask you Lord to enlighten the authorities and bless the community to avoid all evil," Sonia Ruiz, a housewife, said Thursday. Monterrey is one of Mexico's most conservative cities.
Manson's album "The Golden Age of Grotesque" topped the U.S. sales charts in May.
The rocker won a civil suit in Minnesota in September brought by a security guard upset at Manson rubbing his crotch against the guard's head during a concert.
