Btw ... this is too nice of a weather ... hmmm ... chinook ?? Don't think so .... too much trails in a week ... started spraying right after the fires were out ... snow is melting everywhere ....

Question to the people :

What do you think about the pathogen elements in the trails ??? What are the level of sickness in your area ???

Here .... still spraying ... still sick from a bizarre cold, been sick 4 weeks now .... hmmmmmm ......

Even out in the boonies, or maybe especially out in the bonnies noxious odors (fertilizers etc.) can be quite distinct.

Also, I know what a metallic taste is like, but I am not sure what a metallic smell smells like. (this is very subjective, I admit). Can you give me a better description? Like “it smells like fertilizer,” or “it smells like an overheated car engine,” or something like that? Thanks.

To answer your question, i have to say that i am living in the downtown area of Calgary ... so many odors are present. But one stays stuck in the nose, one strong unexplainable " metal " smell. lol ... Just like when u go to the dentist, and u get a tooth filled, mixed with some acidic taste left in the back of the throat ( remember, i still got this cold ...My nose is filled ... i won't go further ... lol ! ). If u look at the letter poster by ScaredForTheFuture ( opening page ), i can't make a sure relation myself ... but i lived for a while in a small village in the rockies named Field ( check your maps ), where i NEVER saw a spray ( since no homeless people live around there ... and they don't really need any kind of specific weather 'cause of the mountains ... whatever that means !), and i remember no metal smell over there. Coincidence ? Not sure .... But i'll check out today for the industries and plantsd around town, added with wind direction and speed ... and post again tomorrow. Where are u from ? any smell in your area ?? How much do they spray where u are ? Could it be a factor ? .... I dunno ... Keep lookin'up !

I did'nt open this thread to help you guys wage old wars ... please ... and i did'nt take anything personal btw ...so Wolf, did you know about possible pathogen agents in the trails to get rid of " over-eaters " .... in some towns, like the Banff area, who we may call " tourist traps ", that don't bother having anything for homeless people, and even take'em outta town when they find some that panhandle or else, they don't spray around those, for what i've seen of it ( and i was in that area for more than 3 months... no trails !! ) ... the immuno system is easy to fuck up, but if you do it with food ( like in shelters, or any facility that could help the homeless), it will leave noticeable traces,so it's not a very good idea ... but if you put it in the air everyone breathes ... People with incomes (and even for those who don't have that much income ) can treat rapidly most of their sickness ... not the homeless ... i know 'bout that myself, after being on the streets for a couple of years ( hehehe ... goverment can't touch someone they can't find ... ). Now i look at what's in front of me, people that can't get any good treatment for a cold or any lung related sickness that stay sick for too long, and old homies that die in a greater % in the winter now than in the last 15 years ... but i got to admit, they found the way to get rid of a great percentage of those and it's disgusting ... but i'm not implying they do it only for the homeless, It's been snowing now for the last 12 hours ( and really snowing ... hmmmm ...). After all i read all around the web ( i take some, and i leave some ... ), i'm kinda scared of what's happening ... anyway ... I'll keep posting updates on my part of the skys ... catch ya all later !

...read carefully, there is a lot in there ( and for all who are interested in knowing a bit more ...) but like i said, i take some and i leave some so .... For today in the Calgary area, ... cloudy !! No way to see any trails, 'cause the clouds are too low ... Snowed half o'the day yesterday ... Temperature today is really low compared to the last few days .... we've had +10 degrees celcius for a couple of days, now are down to -14 celcius ... winds at 17km/h northbound ... since it's that much cloudy, i'll just have to wait and see ... Is there anyone who opened a thread talking about pathogenic trails ?? If so, contact me ... thanx in advance !!!

Thanx Iamvik for the post !! I'm happy now ... i'm not alone in the area !! Some of my friends call me crazy to believe those shits ... but i don't care ... there IS something strange going on on the planet, and everyone should help ...
So for today, here's the forcast : suppose to go down to -24 ( with the 10km/h north wind ), 49% humidity ... it's another cloudy day again, and there is suppose to a small snowfall real early in the morning ... We're supposed to get a couple more days of real cold temperature, compared with what we had last week ... while they were spraying a lot ... but it's still too cloudy to see the skys today ... again ... i'm questionning myself on what the next 2 weeks will look like now ... They play with the weather too much ... Going from 6 days of -20 to -30, to ( on next sunday-monday ) -5 to +3 degrees celcius ... I'm trying right now to understand why they need that kinda weather ... lol ... and my friend tell me i got nothing to do when i check those !!!

And, to finish for today, thanx to all the people who read my thread, and keep themselves informed on what's going on in this part of Canada; I only whish people from the east would give some news about their skys ... And all u readers, if u have anything to say, ... well ... just say it !!!

So keep your eyes peeled, and ..... look up !!

Sorry if i didn't write in the last few days, but life had a different path for me .... So for the last days, the skys have been a little fucked ... clear, then cloudy, clear and cloudy again ... no snowfalls ... temperature warmed up a little ... trails are being done only a coule of times each day ... i think they got what they wanted ( i don't now what that is but ......... ) ... Still looking up each time i get out, just in case there's somtin' new up above ... this guy watches everyday, even if i don't write !! Anyway, i'll try to keep up this thread the best i can ! ... Keep lookin'up !!!!
