Cuban conspiracy, US planned to attack own countrymenSource: AFP|Published: Wednesday May 2, 2:08 PM WASHINGTON - Top US generals planned a series of terrorist attacks inside the United States in 1962 to blame them on Cuba and swing US public opinion toward accepting a war against the communist-ruled island, a prominent US author said today. "They actually had a plan," James Bamford, author of the newly published book Body of Secrets, told CNN. "They said in the plan they would shoot people in the street, would sink boats with refugees from Cuba," he added. Bamford said he had discovered the documents in the National Archives while working on the book, which examines the history of the US National Security Agency. The NSA specialises in electronic intelligence collection. One of the plans put together by the Joint Chiefs of Staff called for blaming Cuba if the Mercury 6 rocket carrying astronaut John Glenn into space in February 1962 blew up, according to Bamford. "All of this was to have an excuse to invade Cuba," he said. A CIA-backed invasion of Cuba by anti-Communist exiles failed in 1961, after the US military, following president John Kennedy's orders, declined to give support to the invasion force. Bramford is also author of a 1982 book on the NSA - one of the first to ever look at the secret agency - titled The Puzzle Palace

Chem 11 and Shatoga speak the truth. It's called the NORTHWOODS DOCUMENT.
Type it into any search engine.
The U.S. government approved it and has been using it.
I believe it was used on Sept 11th 2001 as a pretext for war.

Never voted for a "liberal" so your sentiments are unfounded.I said it before and I'll say it again...TRUTH is in the eye of the beholder. I have seen more than enough evidence of the U.S. Governments role in 9-11. It IS the truth...a pretext for war. Before 9-11 the PNAC called for a "Pearl Harbor" type event to happen. This government serves the dark agenda/illuminati...and their plan for a New World Order. It is becoming more obvious year to year. Did you BOTHER to research the NORTHWOODS DOCUMENT? Somehow I doubt it.

Seeker--- Here's the PNAC Statements.
"The strategic “transformation” of the U.S. military into an imperialistic force of global domination would require a huge increase in defense spending to “a minimum level of 3.5 to 3.8 percent of gross domestic product, adding $15 billion to $20 billion to total defense spending annually,” the PNAC plan said." "“The process of transformation,” the plan said, “is likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event—like a new Pearl Harbor.”" American Free Press asked Christopher Maletz, assistant director of the PNAC about what was meant by the need for “a new Pearl Harbor.” “They needed more money to up the defense budget for raises, new arms, and future capabilities,” Maletz said. “Without some disaster or catastrophic event” neither the politicians nor the military would have approved, Maletz said. The “new Pearl Harbor,” in the form of the terror attacks of Sept. 11, provided the necessary catalyst to put the global war plan into effect. Congress quickly allocated $40 billion to fund the “war on terrorism” shortly after 9-11. http://www.americanfreepress.net/12_24_02/America_Pearl_Harbored/america_pearl_har bored.html VERY SUSPICIOUS if you ask me.

your interpretation of a "condition" does not imply a plan to, rather it describes that a possible situation could be a potential catalyst for....and I'll pull back from hating liberals...an extremely growing dislike is a better term... hate needs to be avoided...hard these days though...

The PNAC is anything but American as far as I am concerned.I'm trying to find out who funds these clowns. "Hate needs to be avoided.." Hate? You don't genuinely hate people for their opinions and prefrences Seek...i'm sure of that. Hate's a pretty strong word. I bash Bush a lot but even I don't hate him. I'd say I have something very close to hatred for those who are controlling him. The evil who are running the whole show, like the PNAC, but it's more like absolute contempt and pure disgust.
