Knowing full well the slippery slope implications of requiring implants to be placed in our pets.....it's hard to believe some in government are actually trying to get legislation passed to make it mandatory. What's next after it becomes socially accepted with your pets?, your children? Yourself? Next thing you know, you'll need a chip in the forehead to shop at K-mart.Biochips in Pets

Cq - Who next? Criminals...in response to a public outcry over high profile horrific crimes. Then they will slowly extend the scope and type of criminal activity that requires a chip. Next, perhaps some children get kidnapped or killed by pedophiles and the public scream for the governmemt to do something - the government say Why don't you have your child implanted at birth? That way we can track them for you if they go missing, like a stolen car? Soon it becomes routine to implant all children at birth - might as well do the adults who slipped through the net.
There was a recent experiment on the net where implants were offered free, as they acted like credit cards with all your banking details on it. The site was inundated with poeple BEGGING to be implanted!!! Can you believe that? Also it is important to remember that UFO abductees have been saying for years that they have been implanted - some surgeons claim to have removed such implants - food for thought?
