Here in Maine we have started getting those suspicious sign codes. They don't appear exactly as shown at this site: http://www.tackamarks.freeservers.com/
but are the same concept. Here they are on the front of the sign and are usually at the bottom. They can be in the middle, left, or right and I have seen combos of locations on them. I tried to call the DOT about them but could only get a machine. Does anyone know how to read the left, middle, right code? I live close to a couple schools and can follow these to them easily. Nice huh? It seems to me that this could be a second secretive military op along with chems. If so, what are the odds that two secretive mil missions going on in my small Maine town are related? Could there be a legit reason for these (grasping at straws). My wife and I grow weary of "mission realted stress"! I took plenty of nice photos of sign codes if anyone cares to see them. They rounded out my roll of film nicely as it already contained some good chembows and trail makers....

Has anyone else seen government officials spraying water mains with blue paint for satellite imaging. Locally those who maintain the streets were out spraying man hole covers and water mains. When I asked what they were doing they said it had to do with satellite mapping for emergency management. Anyone else seen any of this?

I think we need to take FEMA very seriously. Why all the secrecy, if this is for our own good?See the link posted in the first post.

I recall seeing that website a while back, but lost the link (thanks). Still haven't seen any here in VA, but looking. The oddest thing that could possibly correlate to all this is something that I witnessed in my neighboorhood on Sept 14th (date may not be important, but strange for me). After repeated attempts to get a flight out of town, I gave up and went back to work (I had a trip planned on Sept 12th) as to not waste any more vacation days. As I was leaving my house I noticed a guy in regular clothes with a GPS monitor. He would stop in front of a house, take the coordinates from the GPS and then write it down, then moving to the next house. He had no identifying markings on his clothes and was driving a regular S-10 truck. So I turned around and confronted him about what he was doing. He told me he was with the US Topo and was updated maps. I said, "ok then, you won't have a problem with me talking to the police about it". I went inside and called the cops. He had left by the time they got there (air units were also called). Found out later from a friend that his story was true. Still made me wonder about a couple of things:
1-how they could possibly use this info - although I've got some damn good ideas on that one
2-why do street maps need to be THAT accurate and precise? - my answer is, they don't
