Tuesday, June 26, 2001 July 9 Is 'Buy a Gun Day'United Nations is launching its assault on gun rights on July 9, but a movement is growing to counter this move by celebrating the date as "Buy a Gun Day." U.N.'s Web site, funded in part by U.S. taxpayers, includes this tidbit, with emphasis added: "Delegations in Vienna agreed on 2 March 2001 [the goofy European way of saying March 2, 2001] on a legally binding Protocol against the Illicit Manufacturing of and Trafficking in Firearms, Their Parts and Components and Ammunition, which is designed to supplement the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime signed in Palermo, Italy in December 2000. Once entered into force, the Protocol will provide an international law enforcement mechanism for crime prevention and the prosecution of traffickers. Among other things, it includes articles establishing internationally recognized standards and provisions regarding marking, record-keeping and import/export control of firearms. Some outfit called International Action Network on Small Arms wants to designate July 9 as Small Arms Destruction Day. It says: "The Preparatory Committee of the UN Conference on Small Weapons has called on all States, to organize, on a voluntary basis, public events of destruction of small arms and light weapons, preferably on the 9th of July, the opening day of the Conference." Writes one NewsMax.com reader who supports Buy a Gun Day: "According to the United Nations, small arms means arms that are designed for personal use. (Not large tanks or small missile launchers but the firearms that we use at the local rifle range or go hunting with or carry as a means of personal defense.) And that is what this conference is all about - taking firearms away from honest citizens such as you and me." The U.N. doesn't have sovereignty over America just yet, so it's up to you: On July 9, buy a weapon for self-defense or destroy a weapon for self-defense, whichever makes you feel safer.

What's the betting that just before this 'small arms destruction day' that there is terrible shooting somewhere in the USA that makes world headlines? (I hope to God it doesn't happen!!!!) But in order to 'promote' and encourage people to support this day...it would be perfect for TPTB

I had heard that July 9th was called "Burn the guns Day". But it really doesn't matter, anyone can see that the UN is the NWO or One World Government, whatever you want to call them. I don't know all the specifics, but the date and the length of the summit all correlate to very important timing and numbers in the witchcraft realm. Every government in the "Free world" (yeah right) has been infiltrated by these lucifarian worshiping people. The UN is the head of it all. But anyways, that's recreational reading if anyone wants to dig on the subject (i'll happily provide you with links). As far as July 9th goes, I encourage you to buy a gun, and NOT register it. That way when the day comes, they don't know where to come knocking to collect. I'd put money that this next school year is going to be a very bloody one. What a better way to curve public opinion than having children killing children (with a little help from "our" boys). Its sad, but I truely believe that guns are the only thing keeping this country from being overrun by the NWO. All you can do is confide in God, this country is already conquered, there just hasn't been a gunshot, yet.

The U N better forget the gun ideas for us, because that is when there should/would be a revolution in this country...if we let it slide...we're sunk...and the U N with that mandatory AIDS vaccine for U S kids and all our Military,...they better forget that one too...I don't know ANY mothers here that are gonna let their kids get it!! The U N is getting too "cocky"...we all better keep an eye out and also DO something! What to do, I don't know, but things are getting bad! Blessings all, Joanne
