Also heard recently something in the news that occurred to me. Russian mafia is behind arms shipments to Taliban govt, possibly nuke tech.

I first thought Russian mafia had something to do with commercial/military planes getting shot down over the U.S. in last 10 years. Also maybe former Soviet Speznaz(sp) black ops mercenaries behind planning and execution of WTC/Pentagon attacks. If Russian mafia/former Soviet hardliners were behind this, they would certainly have more expertise to bring the destruction of WTC/Pentagon, they could still be using their connections with Taliban to use Muslim/Afghan extremists to carry out the flights?

Wonder why plane-load of Israelis would be flying to Siberia? Maybe is was a military flight. The survivors of Delta force group that were returning to the U.S. following Carter administrations botched/sabotaged attempt to rescue American hostages in Iran were all killed when their plane crashed in New Foundland. Another cover-up of a plane crash longer than 10 years ago.

Allegedly, U.S. military ordered the bull-dosing of the crash site (like Waco, OK City) to destroy any evidence.

Maybe they sense an alliance forming between U.S. & Russia (they are certainly not happy about our having a coalition with Arab nations)! Maybe they realize they are not as important to the U.S. as they were a few years ago? Maybe more of a liability, than an asset?

Ukraine today admitted accidentally shooting down a Russian airliner and killing 78 people.

The Sibir Airline's plane was downed amid fears of a terrorist attack last Thursday but Ukrainian defence chiefs said a stray missile caused the airliner to explode.

They confirmed the missile was fired during military exercises in the Black Sea.

The admission confirms America’s statement that the crash of the Israel to Siberia flight was a tragic accident.

Ukraine accepted the blame after it emerged yesterday that the pilot of the doomed airliner asked one of his crew ''where are we hit?'' seconds before it crashed into the Black Sea.

Vladimir Zhukov, of Russia's North Caucasus air traffic control, said it appeared the pilot knew he had been hit by a missile.

And frantic crew tried to contact air traffic control seconds before all contact was lost and only fragments of the signal got through.

Mr Zhukov said: ''This is all we heard. The pilot asked one of his crew 'where are we hit?' It looks like he was trying to get precise information about the damage caused by the missile explosion.''

The Ukranian accidental missile launch story in this case must be the cover story they're sticking with. It does seem plausible that in light of U.S./WTC attacks, that either Ukranian or Russian aircraft or SAM's would have orders to shoot down an airliner. And that for the sake of unity, to appease Israel they would agree to 'confess' to an accidental launch.

I remember in the case where a U.S. destroyer
shot down an Iranian airliner following the attack on American destroyer Stark. U.S. Intel(?) indicated that the Iranian airliner allegedly had a transponder on board that identified itself at a smaller fighter, heading for U.S. ships. That story was that Iranians deliberately placed the transponder on the plane and sent it over U.S. with the hopes that U.S. would shoot it down, thus giving them a PR victory against the U.S.?

Who knows. Like that Korean Airlines flt 007 shot down by Soviet fighters near USSR/Japan border. Supposedly Ollie North was behind that. Supposedely it was one of those multi-objective missions;

A)to test new jamming/stealth technology on the KAL airliner.

B)to kill target(s) on board the airliner in another "accidental" death by aircrash routine.

C)to give the U.S.S.R. a black eye, a PR victory against Soviet Union (like the alleged Iranian airliner attack).
