I don't really understand what the press conference was for. He didn't really say anything new. His answers were long and rambling...not the usual short, abrupt answers he usually gives. I got the same fidgety feeling I did when Clinton gave his infamous long, boring speech at the Democratic Convention four years before he became president. He (GWB) was surely a different person than he was when he gave that clear, decisive speech to Congress. If he was looking to inspire confidence, I think he missed the mark. And, yes, I got the feeling he didn't really want to be there and wasn't sure what he was supposed to say. Also, what about his remarks about Cheney? I still don't see why Cheney doesn't at least get a photo op now and then so we'd know he's alive. You'd think the terrorists were holding him for ransom or something. Now there's a frightening thought! Scanner

Scanner,Just about an hour ago, I saw a taped interview with Cheney given by Jim Lehrer on MSNBC. I just posted a topic today about Lehrer (PBS disinfo agent), and Cokie Roberts (ABC disinfo agent), and Dan Rather (CBS disinfo agent)!! It was taped I believe though, so who knows if the guy may not have already died? Like Osama, they could have tapes of him ready to feed to the media as needed!?

El Rushbo thinks that Cheney got a bit too Presidential on 09/11, so the Bush administration put him under wraps for a while. Doesn't sound right to me, but it's an interesting theory.
