http://www.fbi.gov/pressrel/pressrel01/skyfall.htm quote:
For Immediate Release October 11, 2001 Washington D.C. FBI National Press Office Certain information, while not specific as to target, gives the government reason to believe that there may be additional terrorist attacks within the United States and against U.S. interests overseas over the next several days. The FBI has again alerted all local law enforcement to be on the highest alert and we call on all people to immediately notify the FBI and local law enforcement of any unusual or suspicious activity.

I think its for the same reason they promote 'reality' shows like 'Survivor'. It's a way to get mass quantities of people to start questioning their neighbors. To think in terms of strategy and deception, to generate distrust and fear, far and wide.Even these 'war channels' FOX, MSNBC, CNN amid all of this 9/11 thing, still find time to promote a 'game show', even if it's on a 'competing' channel. Another thing, and maybe I'm paranoid, okay...but it's interesting that all of those channels have apparently agreed to label the 9/11 story and concurrent events as "America Strikes Back", in relation to U.S. and allies attacks on Afghanistan etc. Doesn't that remind you of "The Empire Strikes Back"? IMO, that's not a very thoughtful title considering The Empire in Star Wars was an evil force. I guess it does describe the events in accordance with the alleged attack by Osama, et al. America is striking back. Could this be a subliminal, designed/promoted effort by media powers to attempt to make the U.S. look like an Evil Empire? Or is my imagination getting away from me? (Guess not everyone in the world has seen Star Wars movies by now?).
