Over the past few days, I've started collecting radar images from accuweather.com of the U.S., looking for any strange occurances. So far, I've found 3 in two days, which seemed like too many for that amount of time, so I've started officially archiving every U.S. radar image every 15 minutes and examining the pictures. Yesterday, I found the strangest thing yet. Starting on the east coast, there appears to be about 10 dart-shaped radar bursts, which appear to be heading toward the west coast. Indeed, they do. I compiled the radar images from the east coast, midwest, and west coast into a single gif file, approx. 780K, linked at the bottom of this page. What I'm interested in is an explanation for what they are, if it truly is a craft or series of them, some strange radar blips, or a satellite malfunction. I'll keep updating this thread with any new things I find, but this one is really strange. Hope to hear your opinions,
OceanWave

[edit: It appears on the southwest set of frames that there's a radar burst in the top of the screen, looks to be over Idaho]

Link to gif (Note: this is my own webserver which is usually up, I'm looking for mirrors with enough space to hold a lot of these images, but if it's down I'm sorry):

Nice gif, OceanWave!

I think those are called "sun streaks." You'll notice they all have approximately the same angle, and they track across the country at the local time of sunrise. I'm trying to find the spot on Doug Pooley's Flashradar site which links to an explanation. In the meantime, here's a thread where we were discussing radar anomalies:
