Hello, Having followed this forum for about 6 months now, I feel like I have to put my 2 cents worth in.Mech, I have to agree with ROFLMAO, you are nothing but a "cut and paste waste" to quote him. You say you served in the Navy. Well guess what, so did I. I joined out of a deep rooted respect for my country and fellow Americans. No I do not believe all that the government tells us but I will never ever put our country down and like ROF, I too will defend our country and fellow Americans to my dying breath. I will refuse to run into the wilderness like you want to do and "survive" HAH. Mister, if you think that for one minute that there is a NWO it is you that is being duped. All you are doing here is making an ass of yourself. How dare you put down fellow veterans, and fellow Americans. Yes the freedom of speech is alive and well here and I hope it remains for generations to come, but for you, (Please excuse me ROF for using your vivid description) SCUM who are putting down America, fellow Americans, and our men and women in the military, I agree LEAVE THIS COUNTRY AND GO FIND A BETTER PLACE TO LIVE! America can get along just fine without people like you here. Professor, Seeker, ROFLMAO, Pacer, and all who love this great country of ours, my hats off to you for helping make this country the greatest to live in! One very Proud Veteran!

OMG...I am a "thought crimininal!!!!" You heard it straight from the horse's @$$ folks... ANYONE who criticizes this administration, America and war is a COMMIE SCUM!!! (Gasp!)
What a bunch of BS. I don't care if you are George W. Bush's handwash attendnt..NO ONE is going to tell me I can't use my 1st Amendment rights. As far as my military service goes...I had fun and traveled the world several times and ended up with a spotless DD214 with numerous awards. But that was years ago. Time to move on. You decry anyone for speaking out on how CORRUPT and TREASONOUS G.W.BUSH is...as far as I am concerned YOU would also stoop to be so low. You are part of the problem. The only REAL SCUM are those who betray constitutional law on capitol hill every day and are absolutely destroying this country moment by moment. Only someone who was in complete denial would not be able to see this. Right now, all I see from Washington is mass spiderwebs of corruption and looting of the American people. We are losing our national sovereignty through things like NAFTA/GATT and our national economy is closer every day to being destroyed. Our civil liberties are being nuetralized by UNCONSTITUTIONAL laws like the Patriot Act, Homeland security act,Our lady of peace act, Model states emergency health powers act.....TO NAME A FEW. If you support this draconian fascism and attack on liberty then YOU are the enmy. YOU are the threat to America as far as i 'm concerned. If you want to live in TV ya-ya wonderland and think that there isn't a global elite controlling our government(NWO) that's your own lack of knowlage. It is blatantly obvious who they are. If you knew ANYTHING about history and the WAR POWERS ACT, you have understood that the people of the U.S. haven't been living under Constitutional law since the 1930's. Uh...yeah..that's right. Don't even try to claim that you are "More-American-than-thou" because that is simply NOT the case.

Thank you for your service to our country Proud Veteran, Mech and anyone else who swore to defend our constitutional republic from enemies both foreign and domestic. I can only pray that as many of the proud vets and currently actives are as concerned with defending our constitution as our country. The federal government does not constitute our country, the governed do. There is no argument that this is still the greatest country on earth. "It is true, we are as yet secured against [tyrannical laws] by the spirit of the times... But is the spirit of the people an infallible, a permanent reliance? Is it government? Is this the kind of protection we receive in return for the rights we give up? Besides, the spirit of the times may alter, will alter. Our rulers will become corrupt, our people careless." --Thomas Jefferson: Notes on Virginia, Q.XVII, 1782. ME 2:224 "[To establish republican government, it is necessary to] effect a constitution in which the will of the nation shall have an organized control over the actions of its government, and its citizens a regular protection against its oppressions." --Thomas Jefferson to Lafayette, 1816. Oh look here, the "cut and past waste" has struck again! Me the problem? Sorry sport, like I said I disagree with some of the things coming out of Washington, but I am well informed and like my freedom to much to sit back and let scum like you think that all is rosey if " we could just get rid of government". You think you could run the country any better? Do you vote on election day? If you don't vote, then you don't have a thing to bitch about. If you think you can do a better job, run for office. You seem like you can sling BS with the best of 'em.

All "would be rosey" if we put most of the Federal branch of government repubs/demorats in court for crimes of treason against Constitutional law and their oath of office, threw ALL of them out and restored 100% CONSTITUTIONAL LAW and everything that comes with it.After which a new constitutional government would be voted on and their oath of office ENFORCED SEVERELY. You would see me shut up in about two seconds.
Untill then...too bad for you. Don't read it if you don't like it.

Proud Veteran, Another tired, boring, tirade by someone who regurgitates worn fascist sayings from the 60's, like, "Love it or Leave it". I think you mistake loathing Bush with hating America. This is a criminal, corrupt, and sadistic regime in power, not unlike Baghdad in it's own way. I suppose you would have backed Robespierre's regime in France during the Reign of Terror, where dissidents were beheaded in public. Perhaps you would have backed Hitler against the Jews, Homosexuals, and Gypsies in 1933 Germany. When the armed forces are used for conquering, you don't have defense any more. Do you like defending oil companies? Would you go and fight a war for Exxon/Mobil?
Us Constitutionalists are going to stay here, because we were born here, and to bug people like Proud Veteran. You may have served in the Navy, but we are helping prevent these psychos in power from another attempt at world conquest. Between the Pro-Peace people in America, China, and Europe, THAT will keep BushLaden Productions from it's 100 year war.

Actually, Zappa stated in an interview that he was neither a Republican or Democrat.Ah yes...The Mothers. All of those albums have been digitally remastered on CD! I always liked "We're only in it for the money" and "Absolutely Free" the best. Anti-war and anti-hippie at the same time...LOL!

Yep, Those two are my favorites too, plus Freak Out!, and The Mother's of Prevention.I met Zappa once in a record store in the late 70's in Los Angeles. Very serious fellow offstage, very focused. I knew some people that worked with him, and he was conservative as far as drugs, sex, and work goes, but yes, he was neither left nor right as far as politics.

I was lucky enough to see him when I was still in high school back in 1987 on the "Broadway the Hard Way" tour. It's funny... they were registering people to vote during intermission. Too bad he died of prostrate cancer. He was one of the few people who took on the Senate and the P.M.R.C. (tipper gore) for music censorship and won..and believe it or not...so was John Denver of all people at that time.Joe Liberman (wimperman) has taken up the music censorship cause since that time.

Saw him at the Fillmore East in 1968 with The Mothers. He was yelling at the audience because they wouldn't let The Mother's play their our set list. It was hilarious. He became more serious after the Mother's split up though. If you ever get a chance, pick up Chad & Jeremy's "Cabbages and Kings". Wonderful anti-war album and very psycho-active.
Whimperman is a NWO stooge, a Zionist if I ever saw one. If he runs against Bush in 2004, we'll really be in some serios trouble.
