Back in 1991 I was active duty in the USMC. I was a firefighter at MCAS Beaufort, SC. We travel the flight line daily to our duty location off the taxiway with our fire truck. One day this C-130 landed and taxied by. It had strange pipe on the underside of the wing at the tip, parallel to the wing's leading edge. As the C-130 taxied by its rear cargo door and ramp were down. There were about 4 men in white suits wearing SCBA respirator inside. On our way back to the firestation we stopped to see if we could get an air craft check out. There were two very large tank bladders inside and as soon as we pulled up we were told to leave by USAF MPs... on a USMC Base. We told our SSgt and he asked about it and they only said that if it catches on fire, let it burn. I would try and upload a pic of what looked like, but the upload tool is not working. Anyway, I saw these aircraft off and on through out my service time there. They only flew at night and landed in the morning. Spooky, eh?

LimaBerk, the C130s are used to spray pesticide. Is there anything else that makes you believe this was a different case?

BobB, I don't even use pesticide for that reason, at least not the kind one sprays. If I had to be handling large amounts of liquid poison I would definately be wanting a suit and resperator.
